Damn it.

I sprained my stupid left ankle at 7pm today going down the steps from the Pe dept to the canteen.
Now I'm an ultraliciously miserable handicapped person. And considering that I have never sprained anything in the 18 years of my life.

I feel super depressed because I take extra long to climb up/go down the stupid steps from my room on the second level to downstairs to grab something to eat or watch tv =( This is extra saddening. AND DID YOU KNOW THERE ARE 6+9+6 steps to get from downstairs to the 2nd level. And I have to bathe like a stupid flamingo, standing on one leg. At the very least flamingoes are pink =(

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Shaken

Been studying the last few days. Not a lot, but a substantial increase from what I used to study. And I got chemistry tuition, first lesson yesterday. Lazy to type about it, but all in all, the teacher is very amusing. Oh well, probably continue another day =)

Got pretty colourful paper clips in the shape of little people from the careers fair today =) Have 2 boxes, it totally made my day happier, especially the pink ones =) Couldn't resist waving the 2 boxes at people's face and watch their amazement at the cute paper clips!

Anyway, off to sleep. Got a super long day of studying tomorrow...

Chocolate-coated Strawberries.

Just got back from dinner with Jon =) We went to Raffles Town Club to have buffet dinner after going to town. The whole place was really pretty and the food was quite nice too. The dessert was WONDERFUL. Strawberries with chocolate fondue with whipped cream with vanilla sauce, strawberry mouse, tiramisu, chocolate banana cake, butter marble cakes, all in pretty little white ceramic plates =) Then there were so many other foods to choose from, salmon, raw tuna, beef, venison, lamb, etc, on hindsight, I suspect I forgot to try the venison, haha, and yummy mushroom soup, and lots more! And it was that kind of restaurant with 3 forks, 2 spoons, 3 knives to use from and there was cheese and crackers too! Oh, and there was another dessert don't know what it's called, but it's cherries with alcohol and don't know what, heated up in a pan, just like the one we saw at this steak restaurant in orchard, except the one served in orchard would have been set a-flamed. Super cool. Thanks for the dinner silly =)

Joyride

I just came home, my mummy on I went driving around town to see the lights at the National Museum. It's really cool. The lights are shone onto the outer walls of the museum and it change every 5 mins or something, really pretty! The Asian Civilisation Museum and the Arts Museum also has this light shining on the wall thing! The museums are having this night festival kind of thing and there's even music and food outside the National Museum, a must go with a camera! We actually drove round 3 times since the police keep chasing us away because we stopped at the roadside to look, and we actually went through town, went pass Clarke Quay and The Cathay. And I haven't been to either these 3 places in like a long time =( Especially Clarke Quay. Why can't A' levels just disappear into thin air? haha. that will be a joke =)

A cheese burger without pickles please.

I was meaning to blog yesterday but I was too tired and lazy as usual =) Had a long and squeezy MRT ride home on yesterday and it was well, an experience. If I'm not wrong, it was the rush-hour crowd who were majority office people going home or something. Not very pleasant okay? First, the aunties all push you and squish you like you're non-existent. Then you have all the male passengers who obviously do not know (or do not care) that they have body odour. =( The worse part is that they (hmm) lift their (hmm) arms to grab the pole or hanging things and wonderful, the smell hits you in the face. So not such a great ride home after all. The best part is somehow I think they don't really realise it. (I'm not sure about that part, but that's what I think) And since the aunties squish you and you can't really move, you'll try to take as little breaths as possible all the way home =( And the train only become significantly emptier at around Kembangan, which isn't really useful since it's only 2 stops away from my stop. Okay, enough complaining =)

I still have a stupid yoshinoya craving. Since 2 weeks ago I think. I want to eat Ebi tempura bowl or whatever it's called, with lots and lots of mayonnaise and the brown sauce =) And you know yoshinoya is quite expensive. It's not like MACS where the student meals are $4.50, the last time I ate yoshinoya, I got a shock, $7 plus. I might as well eat something else. But a craving's a craving =) Cost is not a very helpful deterrence, which reflects why I get broke before every month ends and have to live on my mummy's extra handouts and whine for more money =(

AND I MUST RMB TO ORDER SUBWAY NEXT WEEK. I'm so envious of the people munching on their sandwiches and cookies.

Need sleep, because I'm back to taking Bus to school in the mornings =(

TYH must be awfully impressed of us. He went out to school (probably home) at 6 plus pm and saw us still studying in the canteen, and then he came back to school at 815pm, and STILL see us in the canteen studying =) haha.

But somehow when we were sitting on the stone bench with the cold wind blowing in our faces just now, I realised some things...

Like I knew you long ago.

Okay. So 3 days outside PE dept later, it really doesn't feel very bad =) It is actually quite fun and I guess I'm finally studying. On the 1st day, we left at exactly at 6pm, with me feeling like yays! But then, for yesterday and today, we studied till 7 plus pm then left to eat dinner. Hard Core Muggers =) Okay, not really since we talk a lot, but it's a start! And so I conclude that our "Jail Term" (like what many of you refer it to) is rather enjoyable. We saw a rainbow from outside PE dept yesterday, pretty pretty rainbow, though it's partially blocked by the Neptune Court houses.

Oh ya, and I have half lost my voice, my voice sounds funny and my throat is painful. It would have been a miracle if I didn't get sick anyway, since 3 people close to me are all sick with the same stuff, cough, flu, fever. The doctor was very nice and she insisted on giving me 2 days MC when I only wanted 1 for today. So I highly suspect I won't go school tmr, and do what I did today instead. Pon school, then report to "Jail" later in the afternoon. haha. That way, I can sleep till 10 plus am. Wahaha.

Fat dinosaur played inter-house today, and TYH found out. haha. But only after playing 2 matches which they won. Mr Seet was so nice not to paoto. Haha. And TYH managed to traumatise me even when he wasn't even shouting at me. I think Mr Wee is actually quite poor thing, he like kena blamed every time he let in a goal, a bit his fault la, but the other teachers also a bit overboard, so can sympathize with him. Oh well.

More studying tmr then there's the weekend to enjoy a bit! =)

You all can start laughing at me right NOW.

The last 26 hours were like absurd okay. Really the most unlucky thing, and 2 seconds earlier or later would have made all the difference, totally.

Oh well, as of tmr, me and J are officially grounded to sitting outside pe dept to study from end of lessons to 6pm, every freaking weekday, courtesy of TYH. That's every freaking weekday from tmr till prelims. That's 6 weeks or 30 days. But I can say I probably just got kicked onto my first step of getting my A's, or should I say, TRYING to get my A's, so not much harm, EXCEPT the part where I can't exactly go out eat and study at airport and get my Starbucks frappé. But I bet this saves me lots and lots of money, since I spend so much money eating so many things. haha. I really never imagine myself sitting there to study but nvm, at least someone will bring yummy snacks for me to munch on while we study. Oh ya, and TYH never fails to traumatise me. haha. Just one sms and it's like, oh shit. But this whole thing is so amusing, even to me, that I am actually laughing at myself. So I allow all of you to laugh at me too. I'll probably be a rich girl by the end of 6 weeks from all the money I'll save on food, then it will be time to embark on a mega shopping trip. And then maybe I'll get my B's and C's for prelims =) And I don't blame you, you fat dinosaur, it's no one's fault!

//edit 22:29pm// I just told my mummy about the whole stupid incident and my new grounded status, she just laughed at me and said that god must have been listening to her prayers. Then she agreed to bring me to the supermarket one day soon to buy a lot, a lot of yummy stuff to eat so I won't get bored studying. My mum knows me so well. Then she laughs at me some more.

Fat Dinosaur

Okay, I haven't blogged in a week which is really highly unusual for me. So a summary of the last 7 days...

July 4th Friday
Our quite highly-anticipated Luncheon Meat Party =) I still haven't got the photos but I suspect its on facebook or on Tristan's blog somewhere. So just take another click and hopefully you'll find it! We screamed and shouted while playing Wii at my house and apparently, according to Zong and Belle, they could hear us from 5 houses away! I'm lazy to recount and I think Jom Tang and Tristan both blogged about it. So click away!

July 6th Sunday
Went to Tampines Mall. Haha, haven't been there in months. Never really liked the place since it was always full of you-know-whats and it tends to get really crowded on weekends, but decided to go anyway to grab dinner and check out what's changed since I last went (which equalled to nothing much changed). Then went to Changi Airport T3 to send Belle off with Sihui and Yi Fong Fong. The sheer amount of people there was AMAZING. haha.

July 7th Monday (Youth Day, we're still youths okay!)
I went Bukit Merah AGAIN. And I must say, my direction sense didn't malfunction as bad as it normally does, so I wasn't that lost. Then went to town and satisfy my 1. Mos Burger craving 2. Taka Food Hall Satay sausage in prata craving and went to spend the last of my topshop money before it expired AGAIN. Oh ya, and we watched Wanted. Please don't watch Wanted, the ending is what-can-I-say, very not nice, and just don't watch. So now I ONLY have to watch 21, Batman, and maybe Get Smart. Why do I foresee me being money-less again this month =(

July 8th Tuesday
We had what Lilin calls, 4-batches-team-dinner at our very typical restaurant Thai Express at Marina Square, and I didn't even know that there was an outlet there okay. Though 4 of us left early because we have something called S-C-H-O-O-L the next day.

I am going to study on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, everyday! Will try =) Though catching a movie mid-week sounds great because it's cheaper and I'll probably kill myself studying by then. And I'm going to watch tee-vee from 7pm to 1pm tonight. Wahaha.
7pm - Channel 8 drama
8pm - Friends
9pm - Channel 8 drama
10pm - Ghost Whisperer
11pm - CSI (recorded)
12am - CSI Miami (recorded)
And I'll do Maths tutorials while watching them! Not bad right! I'm doing tutorials =)

Going to order a new wallet for myself and another for Yi Fong Fong later. More online shopping =)
