24th December 2012 - Christmas Eve at work
For Christmas eve, my family and I went to Cafe Biz at Traders Hotel for dinner. Love hotel buffets cause there is always fresh prawns on ice and a huge fondue fountain =D Went off to work after dinner!

Then I had to get to work! This is my 3rd Christmas eve spent working! It's quite sad that I don't get to spend it with family BUT, at least I get to spend it with my lovely colleagues =) *LOADS OF HEARTS TO YOU ALL* Plus the guys were so happy to pop the giant confetti canons! They kept asking me to take more out from the box so that they get to blast more canons! Haha, boys!
Made my dog try on his Christmas costume that I got from Korea! It is a Santa costume complete with hood and presents sack! Tried to get him to look at the camera but failed miserably. He looked everywhere except at the camera!
28th December 2012 - Grandma's lunch at Raffles City
Hadn't met my lovely friends since finals because I was away at Zoukout and Korea! We finally found a time to meet up for lunch and went to Grandma's because they said the nasi-sth is super! Didn't have that because I cannot eat spicy stuff and my dish wasn't that great =(

31st December 2012/1st January 2013 - HAPPY NEW YEAR =)
Also spent NYE working =) It was filled with colourful whistles (which we were giving out), more giant confetti canons and loads of happy-new-year hugs!
*hearts* to Sherry even though we never ever get to work at Velvet together anymore.
After work, we went off to Macs in town for our FIRST SUPPER OF 2013!! HAHA. So happy that my dear friends agreed to go to Macs for supper =) Normally there would be vehement protests!

Korean Holiday (Part 1)
10th December 2012 (Monday) - Off to Seoul!
After lots of sleep the day before to try to cure my sleep deprivation from Zoukout just one day before, I went off to Seoul with my mother and brother! =) We took a night flight out!

All ready to watch lots of movies on the in-flight entertainment system! =) I think I barely slept 2 hours!
Arrived in Seoul Incheon Airport at 6am! First signs of ice and snow at the airport!! =) EXCITED.
11th December 2012 (Tuesday) - Seoul
We took the bus from the airport straight to our hotel's doorstep! The bus was really cheap and comfy! It was the tour kind of bus so we managed to take a quick nap because our hotel was roughly an hour's drive away!
Decided to wear my fur coat for our exploration trip to Myeongdong! Our hotel, Best Western Premier Kukdo Hotel, is a 5-10 minute walk to Myeongdong and a 15-20 minute walk to Dongdaemun! It's really at a really good location!

We were starving because we haven't had lunch and it was already 3pm! Went into the first Korean BBQ restaurant that we spotted in Myeongdong! I think we had Korea BBQ/Hotpot for every lunch and dinner throughout the holiday except for 4-5 meals! HAHA.
There are a million and one side dishes! It was totally impossible to finish considering that my brother didn't eat anything except the BBQ meat!
After a very late lunch, we went shopping within Myeongdong! There are soo many Korean cosmetic shops! Ended up buying more than a hundred facial masks throughout my trip! Also bought the Temple Viper Poison and Snail Slime nail masks which were the "in-things" in Korea! There was also a Cath Kidson store and the store decorations were so pretty! Bambi is so =)
Saw these adorable dog clothing being sold on a cart! Couldn't buy any because they were all so thick or made in fleece - my dog would have died of heatstroke.
Dinner was also in Myeongdong! Korean sukiyaki/bbq!
It was quite weird because we start of with a sukiyaki and then after we were done eating the stuff in the pot, the waitress then came over to fry some kind of rice/bibimbap-like dish?!?!? Haha, it was really weird.
Ended the night at Starbucks! These kind of places really makes one feel like you're in your home country. Trying on my brother's new hat! I told him he looked like a hunter off to kill some game or something! HAHA. Had to go to bed early because we had an early morning bus ride to High 1 Ski Resort! =)
