Toffee

My doggie is such a cutie pie. He knows how to bring his bed's cushion from the bed to the garden but he doesn't know how to bring it back to his bed when he wants to sleep!

He was super grumpy and kept barking for no reason. So, I went downstairs, realized that the silly bum had once AGAIN brought his cushion to the grass and hence he couldn't sleep in his bed because his cushion wasn't there! Then I had to go retrieve the cushion, put it back into his bed with his blanket, and guess what, he immediately jumped into bed and hey, no more incessant barking! I think we have trained him too well. We allow him to sleep in his bed any time, but he only gets his cushion and blanket when it was sleeping time every night! Now he can't sleep without his cushion and blanket in the night! #spoiltbrat

Stand a little taller

Currently experiencing a particularly lazy day! Went to study at the airport yesterday night and had Burger King's breakfast! =) But by the time that they started serving breakfast (2am), I was terribly grumpy because I was so sleepy. Super unglam with only eyeliner on + my fringe all pinned up! HAHA.

Okay, shall go finish up conflict of laws. =) It will be over soon!

Pictures from EONS ago.

Haha. See the title of the post for explanation. This was from LAST YEAR = 2011. I kind of forgot that I had photos that were not yet uploaded so here they are!!

26th December 2011 (or at least I believe that the photos were from that date! HAHA)

We had a really impromptu supper outing after work! =D It so happened that everyone was feeling hungry (must have been one of those nights where the supper at Zouk was really unfulfilling) so we headed out to SPIZE @ River Valley! Plainly, the Spize that everyone goes to after clubbing at Zouk. Amazingly, we somehow agreed to eat at Spize (we all normally have disagreements whether it was going to be Spize/Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice/The duck rice stall in the alley/Swee Choon)!

I was at Phuture's entrance and we all thought that the poster was damn funny! Look at the guy/molester's face! HAHA. Got saliva dripping! Looks super lecherous!

27th December (or 28th, can't remember)

Somebody, can't remember whether it was Vinay or Angeline, was dying to go have Indian buffet at this hotel at Bugis! The name of the hotel has since slipped my mind and ran off somewhere but it's beside Raffles Hospital! The buffet is really cheap and hey, IT'S A BUFFET! To tell you the truth, I am not really a big fan of Indian food. Yes, with the exception of roti prata. But other than that, I can only say I love the rice, the spongy dessert (it's really like a sponge soaking up sugar syrup) AND OF COURSE THE NAANS. Seriously, I will be satisfied just eating the rice and naans. AHAHAH. But it was overall an enjoyable lunch okay! =) Now I have a sudden craving for naan. WHY.

Normal white rice VS the yellow/orange Indian style rice! Saffron rice? I don't know.

This is some fish/meat dish which I did not eat. Remember, I was busy attacking the rice and the naans.

My yummy rice with a piece of tandoori chicken! Chicken wasn't nice because it was too hard! The Indian Times chicken was much nicer!!

Sometimes, having less might actually be having more?

Some days, like today, I wonder what life has in store for me. On the days where nothing seems certain, when everything can change in a blink of an eye. Where one phone call can bring so many questions. I wish that I can press a fast-forward button to my life to take a peek into what will make me the happiest. But I guess that's the beauty of hindsight, you only get to know and reflect after it all happens.

Onto other stuff, I have well overspent just 10 days into February. Currently facing a financial meltdown of my own =( $20 a day for the rest of February. MARCH ALLOWANCE, MAY YOU COME QUICK AND GET ME OUT OF THIS MESS.

OH. It's been a week! Have been super swamped with equity presentation (yesterday), law bash planning, work, trying to study and helping my mum out at her pretty booth in Orchard Central! =) Law bash planning equates to a flurry of emails/msgs/meetings when the actual event is LONG WAY LATER in AUGUST. Haha. I get it that there's a lot of things to plan, but when I think about how the event is in 6 month's time, I can't help but find it amusing! =)

So, I have been helping at my mum's booth (A Trinket Box) on and off for the past week. She'll be there till Valentine's Day (14 Feb)! If you're free, come down and visit! It's right beside the ice cream shop on level one! MUST TALK ABOUT THE ICE CREAM SHOP. Somehow, I can't recall the name of the shop but they throw the ice cream around! The ice cream servers get a scoop of the ice cream you ordered, then they stand at opposite ends of the counter, one person will literally throw the ball of ice cream, and the other guy CATCHES IT WITH THE ICE CREAM CUP. I got a shock when I first saw it. HAHAHAH. Then I realized that they did it all the time. No big deal then! Anyway, here a picture of the booth! (Picture quality is quite terrible, took it with my BB)
