Take A Chance

I don't think I really really love dinner parties. It largely depends on my energy level at that moment and whether the dinner guests are interesting. Tonight was quite fine I guess, except I was a little on the tired side since I didn't take my afternoon nap and was doing online shopping instead. I swear it's addictive. Highly. I haven't bought anything online since like April? And I haven't looked at any single thing online since 3 months ago, and I suddenly revived it and oh my, addicted. And it's bad because I'm actually spending my NEXT MONTH'S ALLOWANCE, and if you haven't realized, it's not October yet! Haha. If I really should learn something right this moment, it will be: How to stop buying clothes. Luckily tomorrow is Monday and it's back to studying =) So motivated right!

And oh ya, yesterday night, while playing 3 hours of W/i/i R/e/s/i/d/e/n/t E/v/i/l, a stupid cockroach appeared beside my brother and scared the hell out of me! I was at a significant distance away but hey, you never know when the cockroach will decide to spread out its wings and flap its way towards you okay! I hate hate hate flying cockroaches and normal ones too. My brother whacked it dead after a lot of screaming and advice shouting from my daddy who was playing W/i/i with me. Haha. Chaotic! "Take the paper and whack! Don't let it fly! Faster! Faster! Roll up the magazine and hit it! Find it behind the chair and quickly kill it!" Cockroaches are gross and horrible and disgusting and whatever else. Next time my husband MUST NOT BE SCARED OF COCKROACHES. If not who is going to kill them? Oh, and my maid is a super cockroach killer also. She sprays Baygon like free and hunts down cockroaches in no time! Die all you cockroaches!

Then yesterday we made pizza and mash potatoes to celebrate our monthsery like the dinosaur likes to call it. And it rather affirms my, hmm, dislike for cooking, although I didn't fry the chicken, or the steak the last time. Unless someone cleans up after you finish cooking and all the ingredients come to you nicely chopped, sliced, peeled, mashed or whatever form they are supposed to be in. After chopping all the ingredients for the pizza, decorating the pizza with toppings and helping to mash a bit of the potatoes, I was so tired that by the time it was ready to be eaten, I actually felt full and didn't feel like eating. The fat dinosaur was also full but only because he kept stealing mouthfuls of potato, prawns, cheese and chicken, here and there. So the next time we end up cooking, I think we can just cook one serving and then share it, and I had enough of potatoes for awhile, no potatoes for the next time.

See the difference in the amount of toppings between the two pizzas. Now you know who is the greedy one.

I need to go read my storybook =) You know the National Library charges you 50 cents to renew a book. The last time I borrowed a book and renewed it, there was no fee! So horrible! 300 more pages to go!

Just for now.

Burger king kid's meal toy!

My Computer and internet decided to take turns to go ga-ga over the last few days and so I haven't been able to go online! And now that it's finally back to normal after multiple virus/ad-ware/whatever-else-there-is scans, I am back, and back to online shopping too =) Actually I didn't exactly intend to on my computer, but my mummy made me on it to transfer some photos to her thumb drive, so I took the opportunity and muahaha, I just bought a mini skirt online =) There's 20% discount on Mandee and I couldn't help it!

Anyway, now that prelims are like over, and I have played a lot over the last weekend, I'm starting to start studying again =( I have shopped like crazy all over Singapore (kind of) and went to Sentosa and went to play pool, and watched soccer, etc, all points to enjoying and relaxing. Then I must say, if you ever go to Sentosa to want to sun tan or something, go to cafe del mar. It is wonderful. Don't ask, just go okay! Oh, and I ate Sakae teppanyaki and sashimi buffet at Sentosa too, expensive if you ask me, but if you can eat a lot and like sashimi and teppanyaki, chiong down there and chomp your way through! $26 for 90 mins of buffet. Then Lilin came over to stay on Monday night and we talked non-stop from 9pm to 2+ am, only stopping to pee and brush teeth. Ha ha.

Then the last few days were not very great, because of one specific thing that I found out and that caused me to be very confused to whether who to believe and what the hell, if you did something wrong, just bloody admit it thank you very much you horrible person. You won't know who I'm referring to, since I myself don't even know who I'm referring to, that's the wonderful part about it.

On onto the happier stuff, Jon bought me the wallet that I refused to buy because I baulked at the price. So bye bye to my gold wallet and now I have a pretty pink patent wallet =) Though it's now a little fat because I stuff too much things inside, it needs to go on a slight diet.

And you know about all the pretty black earring/bracelets/necklaces at Diva? They all look so pretty hanging there, but I realised that you can see black earrings because it camouflages with your hair, unless you tie it up, so I didn't buy any, now I'm back to shopping for cheap F21 accessories online. Okay, off to more shopping =)

I'm indecisive, I know.

Ya, so the weekend was supposed to be for studying. But instead, the opposite always happens. Friday was spent playing Wii at home before heading off to Coffee bean at parkway to study after lunch, then Jon and I went mini-shopping at parkway and then more Wii at my house. Then studying at T3 macs on Saturday followed by another match watching at chjimes and a very over-priced dinner which is not what I actually expected. And on Sunday, happy me went to watch Desperate Housewives Season 3 marathon on cable, yup, from 6pm to 12 midnight. Solid 6 hours in front of the tv and very briefly flipping through a little bit of chemistry notes here and there, if you get what I mean =) It resulted in me being very sleepy today and had to consume 1 whole tube minus 3 fruitips just in the period of the econs paper, that's in 2 hours 15mins. Then a nice seafood dinner at Turf City and now I am stoned. I need sleep, and I need to READ through 3 topics of stupid biology application syllabus by tmr night 2359pm. I know it's screwed but I'm in already in "whoo-hoo! Prelims are over!" kind of mood, so I somehow don't really care THAT much anymore. I'm more worried about whether my mummy is going to let me out on Friday night, whether I should spend the money on that pink patent shiny wallet, whether I should actually tan or pile on the SPF50 like everyone says I should, and goodness gracious, what is going to match my new purple waist belt. My mind is on super digressed mode and I really hope I'm going to study hard tmr, with all the luck I can get =)

Okay, the next time I actually come here should be Wednesday, since Thursday's Chem MCQ is in the afternoon. There is Happiness in sleeping in.

Breathe when you still can

Okay, I wanted to blog about random stuff two days ago, BUT, two days ago, I had EXAMS, hence, no blog post. So now that I actually have a 3 day break, I have started to breathe properly, without feeling that stressed, stressed until very not funny jokes come out of my mouth like, don't shake your head too much if not later what you memorise drop out of your ears! Or when I stress out and before anyone can say 3 words to me, you'll be hit with "Don't talk to me! I'm TRYING to memorise a formula!!" And at the most dire moments, I try VERY HARD to imagine that A' levels are already over, not that it actually works at all.

Going to take a break on Saturday night to watch Man U against Liverpool somewhere out, hopefully as well as down my long craving for a lychee Martini. But the big problem is that I don't think I even consume alcohol before 11pm. But nvm, we shall see. Then I've been thinking about all sorts of things to do RIGHT AFTER prelims =) Shopping, shopping, Sentosa, sleeping, eating doesn't count since I still eat during prelims, more shopping, stoning, having gatherings. Then there is the Chelsea-Man Utd match to watch next Sunday =)

JUST SURVIVE A FEW MORE DAYS OKAY! Monday will be another bad day since Chemistry and Econs is AGAIN on the same day. Last weekend I grumbled to my mummy that Chemistry and Econs are always on the same days, then make me very stressed easily frustrated, then she asked me if A's are like that, then when I said no, she asked me why never tell her earlier, she'll write letter to "abalone" and complain. haha, yes she said abalone!

Anyway, recently I think about 3 people asked me the same question that caused me to lag in my answer for absolutely long (because I was THINKING la duh!). How on earth did I know the fat dinosaur? Wah, I tell you, tough question. Then that day I was with Lilin then I finally realised! haha. I insulted his (hmmm) _ _ _ _ (fit a 4 letter word in) Guess bag! haha. Sorry darling, in the past I thought it was _ _ _ _ and I still do =) Like how I told you that if I could, I'll run away with it and throw it away without you knowing! Haha, your mother agrees too! Along with many other people =) (and I am going to see how long you're going to take to see this, because you always say you won't come here, but you always do anyway! and if you whack me for this, I'll blog about your menu looking, muahaha. You always lose to me anyway=)

I WANT TO WATCH WALLIE.

Let the panic begin.

So I've been wondering for a few days now, why my fringe is going crazy and refuses to stay in place like it used to do a few months back. Ha. Then I finally realized why while I was walking home just now. Because my fringe now actually so long that it can cover my bottom lip! Okay, I know it's a strange realization, but haha, so now I finally know =)

Oh shit.

Monday could be a good day, or a bad day, depending on whether I actually manage to finish reading my economics notes and some essays. Oh no, and it's 3 more days.

And somehow, my stupid brain does not register what is budget. Ordering Grande-sized Vanilla Frappe from Starbucks, eating Shukudo dinner at Raffles City, a slice of Gelare cake and a jumbo sausage prata all in one day, is not budget. Tomorrow WILL BE a STRICTLY budget day.
