Merry-go-round

Realized that I have quite a few photos that I haven't uploaded from post-exams!! After our Finance paper on monday, we went to TIMBRE@SUBSTATION, which is essentially just the one behind Law school.

18th April (Monday)

This is one of the chicken wings, sorry for the very blur photo.

SPLITZZA! Half roast duck, half don't-know-what cause I obviously was not even interested in it! ROAST DUCK PIZZA IS LOVE. We also ordered another whole roast duck pizza!

Timbre to me is not Timbre without both pizza and my virgin strawberry margharita! =)

Super-duper lack of make-up. I also have no idea why.

19th April (Tuesday)

Okay, Bf and I were supposed to go to the post-exam party at Zouk that night, BUT I had a super chai tau kway craving. Hence, we instead of heading down to Zouk, we went to Chomp Chomp to hunt for chai tau kway!

My bandung and the Bf's soyabean! Both like GIANTS.

This is my chai tau kway! The stall near the front that I usually buy from was closed already (we went at 11 plus 12). So had no choice but to try the only other stall which is quite new. Guess it was not bad! But the best is still my chai tau kway at bedok interchange!!!

Can't exactly remember which day this was! (Either Thurs/Fri/Sat)

We were giving out free wristbands for the tel aviv event. I think the guest DJ's were from there! I took like 4 bands home! HAHA. Made me ponder for a moment whether I was a hoarder =D

20th April (Wednesday)

We decided to have an impromptu supper outing after work!! SWEEEEE CHOOOOOON! Everyone didn't want to take pictures -_-

I'll see you once again, my love.

Sorry to the various people (old friends, regulars, random people) who were talking to me at work yesterday. I didn't mean to be super unfriendly or uninterested, just that I was (and still am) having a really bad sore throat and my voice goes crazy every now and then. THIS IS NOT THE NORMAL KIND OF SORE THROAT OKAY. MY THROAT IS SWOLLEN LIKE HELL AND I FEEL LIKE SHIT. If you say "chey sore throat only", I swear I will glare at you like some evil witch. Muahaha.

Anyway, I'll be going down to the ICA to go get a new passport tomorrow! I feel really stupid that my passport actually expired and I didn't even see it coming. I actually do know the exact expiry date but it didn't really occur to me that __ March 2011 is actually like THIS YEAR. Super fail I know. Then I'll be going for some course on how to use the legal databases for internships in the afternoon! I am determined to make a good impression during my internships =) The TRC one is coming up in 2 weeks time and I am still facing a zero count on acceptable work skirts! =( It's really hard. There is this certain invisible line on my thigh (by feeling) that if a skirt/shorts/dress goes beyond, then I feel uncomfortable in it. Of course there is an upper line and a lower line. So it's really hard to make myself buy a skirt cause they would all transcend the lower line. So I was thinking, maybe I should get pants instead, BUT, THIS IS SINGAPORE, IT'S SOO HOT. So no pants! Prefer airy skirts. Talking about this makes me panic a little, maybe I really should go hunt for the skirts tomorrow. CRAPS.

One of the most stupid things people have said to me at work, this happened yesterday:
Random person: "Hi, do you think I can get a chop using my butter vip card?"
Me: *what-the-hell-are-you-talking-look* "What do you think?"

I finally got an off day on WEDNESDAY!!! WOOHOO CLUBBING TIME!!! AFTER SOOOOO LONG. Apple shooters and sour plum shots! Haha, 4 shots and I'm gone!

I was in the midst of booking my tickets to BKK when I realized that my passport expired a month ago! OMG. I'M SUPPOSED TO BE FLYING OFF IN ABOUT A WEEK FROM NOW?!?!?!?

Two-faced.

My throat is dying and I'm awfully tired. Working for 4 days in a row is seriously hell. I hope that I still have my voice tomorrow, if not how to work!?!?!? On a happier note, I brought home lots of cute badges today!! =D Mini fred perry badges and zouk's 42 below normal-sized badges. I wanted to take pictures of all of them BUT the BF took more than half of them =( Ever since I started working at Zouk, I have been bringing home all these random knick-knacks! HAHA. Handphone cords, badges, wristbands (yesterday), zouk book, kotex tampons, magazines ... There are so many random stuff lying all around my room!! HAHAH. SLLEEEEPPPY. Shall eat the shiraz that the BF bought for me and go to sleepyland! SHIRAZ IS LOVE.

Today I found out that a friend has been bitching about me behind my back. I seriously cannot think of a reason why this person would do that. Is there any way have I wronged you??!?!? If I could afford you this much respect, why couldn't you give me the same? If it was just some random person that I do not know or just some acquaintance, I seriously cannot be bothered. You might not be a very very close friend, BUT STILL. If it's really true that you have said really bad things about me behind my back, you can go to hell. BYE BYE. All I hope now is that it was just some harmless things that you said.

We walk around aimlessly without a care

When I walked through my front gate this morning, the sun was already up! HAHA. After work, we had an impromptu supper outing and the 6 of us went to eat SWEE CHOON =) Somehow of the other, we ate and talked till 6am and then we hiked all over boon keng trying to get a cab. HIKING TOOK US 30MINS OKAY. Finally we decided to call cabs =) I JUST WOKE UP AND I'M SUPER HUNGRY!!! MCCHICKEN!!!

On another note, I JUST GOT MY PAY! AND IT'S MORE THAN I THOUGHT!! WOOHOO. I'M GOING TO BUY ASOS NOOOOOWWWWW!!!

Absolutely nothing =)

I almost ordered ASOS. MUST FIGHT URGE TO BUY STUFF. It's really hard because everything is soo nice. How can anyone resist something like this ...

Would want to buy the skirt too but it's sold out till like UK14. I don't think I can resist much longer =(

Have not booked my BKK tickets. The worst part is that SQ is only 307 for two-ways BUT the timings are horrible. Airasia and jetstar are like crazy ex, so much for being "budget" airlines. If I were to fork out money for airasia ($380) or jetstar (even more ex), I might as well go Thai airways ($369 all included). I saw Tiger airways for $226 all included a few days ago, but now they want to charge me $320?!?!? What's the difference with "lowest fare" and "sales fare"?!?! Anyone knows when the sales fare will come back on??!!?? How can tiger cost more than SQ?!?!?!!? This is absolutely ridiculous! Super irritated. At least the hotel is like super settled. Once I get the flights sorted out, it's straight to hoteltravel.com to book the junior suite at Grand Diamond =) AWESOME HOTEL that is affordable as well! Hoteltravel.com gives really low deals =D Can't wait to go to BKK for shopping/massage/eating/etc =D

In addition to BKK, I WANT A BEACH RESORT HOLIDAY =) Not sure if I can go yet, but there's no harm in dreaming right? Thinking of one of these: Koh Samui, Hua Hin, Phuket (but not keen since I'm scared of tsunamis/ghosts) or maybe somewhere nearer like bintan. But seriously, the resorts and villas in Koh Samui are like a hidden gem, at least from the pictures and reviews =) Secluded beaches, clean white sand, well-furnished suites and villas, private pools, deck chairs, what's there not to like!

Supposed to go out with miss carina chan today, BUT, that woman didn't msg me till the afternoon, then it started to rain and all I feel like doing is lying around watching teevee and dramas on my lappie. I just feel like doing absolutely nothing =)

Random BB Photos =)

Today was a really stupid day. We were going out to sea on a yacht for a birthday party, I brought my camera BUT FORGOT TO BRING THE MEMORY CARD. SO NO PICTURES CAN BE TAKEN WITH MY CAMERA. I FEEL SOO DUMB OKAY. So since I was downloading the few pictures I took today with my BB, I decided to download some others too!

My doggie after he happily dug a really muddy hole in my garden. He actually has mud on his face!

My beanies when I just got them and they still were not territorial about their food bowl. Now they each have their own bowl to eat from.

Zouk Anniversary!

Yesterday

It's so funny, the whole night, people kept wishing us happy birthday! Then I kept on saying "it's not my birthday"! After awhile, I changed my line to "Where's my present then?!!?" No work on Saturday =) But I'm super going to die next week -> Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat. I originally wanted to club on one of the days =( SUPER SAD.

HAHA. OUR NEW "FRONT OFFICE BOY". HAHA.

Me with the balloons I took from the door!! =) Sadly, the balloons only last for a night and they are now lying forlornly on the floor of my room.

The next 2 pictures are me happily bringing my balloons around to take pictures. Our new samurai and then UNCLE FOO. HAHA.

Then I went our to Phut and we had an insane time making funny noises using the helium from the balloons!

HOTCAKES HAPPY MEAL after work with Benz and DJ at ECP! I got another yellow birdie toy!

I should really start studying finance. ARGH. But I really don't feel like it =(
