Quick Update!

On the first day of Restaurant Week, Angeline, Liesel and I went to Latteria Mozzarella for lunch! I think I blogged about the food already so here are just the pictures of us! =)

Decided that it was a KEDS day =)

Have been really busy taking care of my two monsters! I spend my mornings washing Cookie's butt/fur because he always decides to shit in the middle of the night -_- Then I end up babying him because he starts to make very pitiful cries when he wants to be carried. Toffee is a much better dog. He watches over Cookie and lets him play around. I think he really has a fatherly instinct in him! So proud of my monsters!

This is Cookie!

We're collecting Cookie this Saturday! He's a red toy poodle =) Super excited and I hope that Toffee will love him too! He was well-behaved when we saw him in the shop but he quickly climbed into my brother's lap and tried to bite his shirt when we let him out to roam around! Such a cutie pie! I remember when Toff was a baby, he was really inquisitive and chewed on everything from pens to rugs to slippers! Hope that Cookie doesn't learn all of Toff's naughty tricks!

My mummy and I went over to NEX's Pet Safari to grab stuff for Cookie and Toffee just now! Got each of them new toys, new food and water bowls, plus a sleeping mattress for Cookie (same as Toff's)! Can't wait for the Pet Safari at Eastpoint to reopen! NEX is just too far out of the way and the Pet Lovers at Simpang is too small! Sometimes it's really hard when you're looking for particular designs of accessories and what not!

Can't wait for Saturday! =)

Restaurant Week (October 2013)

Went to Absinthe for Restaurant Week dinner after class just now! The ambience is really nice and decor is really interesting! I can only imagine how nice the private rooms are for birthday parties and what-not! The food was good too but I obviously will not spend that amount of money for frequent/normal meals! I was just telling the BF about the mozzarella balls that Liesel, Angeline and I had yesterday at Latteria Mozzarella for Restaurant Week lunch! There were 3 types of mozzarella balls - with avocado puree, fried with a batter with a tomato-based sauce, wrapped in parma ham. I imagined that the one wrapped in parma ham would be the best tasting one, BUT NO. HAHA. The cheapest-looking one, fried in matter with a tomato-based sauced, was actually the best tasting mozzarella ball! I went on to check their menu and yes, it was really one of the cheaper mozzarella balls on their menu! BUT IT WAS DELICIOUS. Apparently, the ones on their a la carte menu are almost the size of tennis balls! I simply cannot wait to have another one! Will still be heading off to Parsley & Thyme (Friday) and Capricci (Saturday) for Restaurant Week big-eat-out! Hope they both turn out good!

Toffee + Cookie

Just spent the last hour or so trying to convince my mother that I want another dog. I think I'm finally wearing her down! I've been trying to convince her for more than a year to get a "grandchild" for my Toffee! The idea behind it is that Toffee will have a companion to play with and go bark at random things together. Then Toffee will also discipline the little doggie, e.g. when Toffee is taking his afternoon nap and the little doggie is yapping away, Toffee will tell him to shut up and it will be so effective because it's in dog language. It is so much more efficient then I told my dog to stop barking! Then I can also get a matching bed for the new doggie and the two of them can sleep beside each other! Toffee will also be able to teach the new doggie all his little tricks, etc, and the two of them will be soo cute together!! I bet Toffee wants a companion too! He has quite a few friends which he sees when he goes for his walks and apparently he has a lot of fun playing and jumping around with them! AWWW. Kind of set my sights on a chocolate-coloured toy poodle or a black and white french bulldog. FYI, I have already decided on my new doggie's name = COOKIE. My friends/family have been making fun of the name I chose, e.g. "I'm going to eat your Cookie". Bleah. BUT I DON'T CARE. My dog's name is going to be Cookie! Toffee + Cookie =)
