I got an internship at D/r/e/w & N/a/p/i/e/r for July 2011! =D That's 1 month solved! I think probably 1 or 2 more shorter internships and I think that will considered enough because I still want to enjoy my holidays =) * CROSS FINGERS* Someone else offer me another place!
Yesterday was insane. We actually sold out/ full house and totally stopped selling tickets. Haha. What was the occasion? No idea. Something about the last m/a/m/b/o of the year?!?! Please, then next week is the first m/a/m/b/o of the year also what. I actually went m/a/m/b/o yesterday (which is like today AM). Liesel happily dancing all her songs with the equally happy people dancing beside her, haha. The best part is that we stood at the top overlooking the dancefloor, there was space/no one push us/abundance of airconditioning/can still see everything. No, I still do not like m/a/m/b/o. But you know, M/a/m/b/o King looks SOOOOOO happy all the time that you'll also feel happy. So funny.
Cannot believe school starts on Monday -_- Okay, my timetable is really not bad and I only have 1 class on Monday.
DID NOT WATCH MOVIE TODAY. So sad. Yogi bear will have to wait until at least Friday or the weekend. Well, was supposed to reach town at 1pm, then I dragged till 2pm, then Jon dragged till 4pm, then I re-dragged until 530pm. WE FINALLY REACHED TOWN AT 545pm. Haha. 5 hours after our intended time. Went shopping, which was not fulfilling at all, but nevermind! GOING SHOPPING WITH TIFEN TMR =) Super damn long never see that woman already cause she had exams until like last Thursday or something! Exams for me seems like so super long ago luh!
Sunday, December 26, 2010 Popping bottles in the ice
It's really heavy when people start pouring out all their problems and thoughts and unhappiness and worries. I'm not complaining about it, I really don't mind hearing about them. If you want to tell me about them, I'm definitely willing to listen. It's just that within the span of a few days, AND DURING XMAS, I suddenly found out about sooo many different things about/from so many people. A lot of the things cannot be solved by anyone or anything. I just hope all these people feel better after telling someone, etc, and hopefully everything gets better from now on =) Maybe 2011 will be better! I don't really have much to complain about my own life, except that I'm hoping this one stupid pimple will disappear by NYE. Haha.
I just told my dad that I'm going to continue door-bitching during school. Uh, he obviously wasn't very happy about it, but I think for the moment, it's fine. Oh, and I found out yesterday that we get discounts at the sausage and mash stand =) No wonder I got more change than usual last week! I'm still getting very shocked looks when people see me working at z/o/u/k. Haha. Sorry if I've been kind of "ignoring" some people, sometimes it's really busy so I can't chat for long or sometimes I can't even chat at all cause a super crowd just decided to surge into the club for some reason. Sometimes towards the ending part of the night, I admit that I can get slightly bitchy. NO YOU CANNOT GO INTO P___ BECAUSE P___ IS AT FULL CAPACITY. AND NO, I DON'T CARE IF ALL YOUR FRIENDS ARE INSIDE, NEXT TIME COME EARLIER, THANK YOU. Seriously, if it was me, I wouldn't go in and get squished luh. And it doesn't get emptier towards the end of the night, in fact, it gets really squishy because all the great songs are on! Okay, going off topic. Anyway, they put fake snow on the whole floor in VU on Christmas eve! So pretty! We party popped our way through the night =)

AND I HAVEN'T STARTED READING ANYTHING. SCREWED BIG-TIME. ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO HAVE STARTED READING, HATE YOU ALL. (I am not being paranoid, if I'm not wrong, law is the only faculty that starts REAL PROPER CLASS on the first day of school, and our reading list for the first week was out last week, and I bet quite a few people already finished. ARGH. We actually got told off quite badly in Year 1 when we all appeared in class in Week 1 without doing the readings.)

Friday, December 24, 2010 And all these masks we wore
Muahaha. Today is a wonderful day =) Finally bought my Tiffany and Co. key for my 21st birthday! =D 18K rose gold heart-shaped key with a rose gold chain. Somehow the price increased? Or maybe the last time we were given the price of a different rose gold key. The damage --> S$825. My mummy still bought it for me anyway =) So happy =) That time she asked the price at the MBS store apparently was $650 (but I think she was looking at a different key!) Freaking love Tiffany and Co. In the little blue box in the blue paper bag =) If I guessed correctly, this shouldn't be the only Tiffany box I'll be getting =) If I'm not wrong, the bf is getting/got something from there too =) *CROSS FINGERS* Now my key is all wrapped up and I can't bear to even pull open the ribbons so I shall not see my key till my actual birthday =) I just have to figure out where is a safe place to keep it. Haha.
Argh. I'm working on X'mas eve, X'mas day, NY's eve, NY's day. You all know where to find me! So funny that I won't be counting down to 2011 with people close to me =( For as long as I can remember, I always had family gatherings, or I spent it with Tifen or with Jon. This year, while people are counting down, I'm working? =( Sad. And I can't open my Christmas presents right after the clock goes to 00:00 like I always do. Fine, at least we're getting paid rather well but still. I guess it's going to feel slightly lonely even though I'll be surrounded by super hell lot of clubbers. Oh well.
Still have not decided what to do on my birthday. I have some ideas but they are not perfect, or I can't decide whether or not they are good ideas etc. I have become so bloody fickle-minded. Haha. I have a crazy idea to not throw a single party and use the $$$ to put into my "I want to buy a new bag" fund. Aiya, cannot decide.

Back to my beans =) TODAY I WAS SOOO PROUD OF JELLYBEAN. Remember how I always say that Jelly was the clean one. Today after he ate all his sunflower seeds and all the shells were left on the wheel, JELLY ACTUALLY PUSHED (using his arms and his mouth) ALL THE SHELLS OFF THE WHEEL ONTO THE FLOOR BEFORE LYING DOWN IN HIS WHEEL. Jelly is such a clean hamster =) So proud of him. Soyabean couldn't be bothered and just lay on all his shells, haha. Can totally see the different personalities of my beans.
I just had a super impromptu ice cream supper at Changi airport with Liesel and Vinay. No planning one, just go! Damn stoned now. Trying to continue with my cover letter but it's not appearing. Can't think anymore. I think I am really sleep-deprived, especially since I didn't take an afternoon nap and I woke up so early today. Shall read the AMH book as a bedtime story later. Shall owe the photos again!
Today, I shopped from 330pm all the way till 930pm NON-STOP. THAT'S 6 HOURS. NEVER SAT DOWN FOR A SECOND UNLESS YOU COUNT SITTING ON THE TOILET BOWL TO PEE. My legs are freaking aching and I'm so glad I had the bf with me to carry all my shopping. We ended up with 5 big bags after stuffing the smaller bags into them. Damn tired. Towards the end, my brain felt like it was shutting down.
Okay, here's lesson of the day: DO NOT EVER AGREE TO WALK TO TANGLIN MALL FROM ION ORCHARD. NEVER. In my mind, (I must have been bluffing myself) I imagined Tanglin mall to be somewhere right after Hilton hotel or something. BUT NO. IT'S DAMN F-ING FAR. Ya, Chilli's was nice and yummy BUT THE WALK IS INSANE. NEVER AGAIN AGREE TO THIS.

Really sick. ARGH. Yesterday I left work slightly earlier cause my nose was on some kind of a marathon. Wore a jacket to work and I secretly stuffed the pocket full of tissues! Haha. Then was supposed to go Christmas shopping with my mum then go for work today, BUT seriously dying. 38 degrees or higher fever the whole day, so didn't go for either. Feeling damn shitty now and my maid is going to cook dry instant mee for me for dinner cause everyone is out. The bf is stuck in camp doing duty so no one to baby me =(
Back to happier thoughts =) I got my highest ever GPA in SMU ever. Okay, fine, I have only been there for 3 sems, but still! My first sem was the shittiest due to some personal problems then, 3.08, it's embarrassing. Then I got 3.38 for sem 2 which is still not great, maybe even lower then the average law student. THEN THIS SEM =) I got 3.46 =) Ya luh, not dean's list or even anywhere near it, but at least it shows I can achieve not bad results in Law okay! Now I have to tell you about my dream. A few days before yesterday, I already knew that my CLS bombed at a B, and my Lobo only got a B+, the other 2 subs were not released yet. Then night before I had a dream. I cannot remember anything from the dream, except that my CLS and Lobo results were exactly like what I got, and that my FA and Prop Law both got A-. HAHA. Then I woke up thinking, okay luh, maybe FA still got chance to get A-, Prop confirm a B or something cause my class part is like practically akin to zero and research paper got a B+. So I was hoping for something like a B+ or a B. FA was released last night, I got a A-. The just now, the prof released the Prop marks, I GOT A- =) SO PROUD OF MYSELF. Haha. As expected, I tanked a B- for class part, BUT MY PROP FINAL GOT A+. OMG. Haha. I never ever got A+ for ANY COMPONENT in SMU before. And I got that in one of my mods that I didn't exactly like. HAHA. Okay, I am very happy now. But I'm also very sick luh.
Shall go find my maid to split the panadol into little pieces so I can swallow =)
Super fail =( I decided to make 3-in-1 milo for myself, and it came out quite tasteless =( Went to consult my brother and his friends. How was I supposed to know that I was supposed to put 2 packets of powder for the cup that I was using?!?! The cup where got big. That's the normal-sized ones luh! Then 3-in-1 still supposed to add my own milk and sugar?!? THEN HOW IS THAT 3-IN-1 FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
Had a really really drunk friend who talked absolute rubbish yesterday. Haha. It's really funny to talk to some drunk/high people. It's something like baby talking and only simple stuff gets through to them. Haha. Teochew porridge again! I secretly wanted to eat Swee Choon Dim Sum =( WHO'S COMING ON FRIDAY OR SATURDAY! Come supper with me =)

The urban decay eyeliner pencil is out of stock online -_- Crossing my fingers that it will miraculously appear back like by tonight. Haha, I soooo need a miracle. Going to town today to do a preliminary hunt for the bf's present. Spent damn long convincing him to combine Xmas and his bday's present, so that I can buy a nicer and more expensive _____. Haha, cannot write here in case he sees!
I called up more than a dozen hotels yesterday to ask the price of their X'mas eve buffet dinner. OMG. Some are charging $128++?!?!?!? And it's not Fullerton or Shangri-la okay. Insane. Haha, we need a table for 12 people! So after calling all those, minus the ones which are fully-booked or over-priced, and the ones that my mum says the "ambience is not nice", we are left with nothing. HAHA. Now the new plan is to have it at some restaurant (turkey, steak kind) probably somewhere in Holland/Bukit Timah/Dempsey. More work to do =(
Didn't go universal studios yesterday. Stupid little kids are on school holiday --> lots of little kids at universal studios --> no tickets for old kids (us) to go. =( Went to shop in town and watched Narnia with the bf. FINALLY bought my little bro's bday/xmas present. Bought him the newest edition of the Ben Sherman classic polo tee. It's damn pretty. In addition to the Ben Sherman words, there's a British Flag on top of it =) Narnia was okay luh. Quite funny at some parts.
Then we went to eat supper at Geylang! Grumpy satay man wasn't there! The pork satay was seriously awesome as usual but we were quite late so there was no more yellow mee for the hokkien mee so we had beehoon in hokkien mee style. HAHA. Quite weird but okay luh! LIESEL AND VINAY, YOU TWO WILL BE SO PROUD OF ME. I FOUND THE SHOP OKAY! HAHA. I EVEN KNOW YOU HAVE TO OVERSHOOT AND TURN BACK!! MUAHAHA =)
Bought another food bowl for my beans so that they won't quarrel over food. Doesn't really seem to work since they first scan through and take what they want from their own bowl, then scurry over to the other bowl to look for more yummy stuff to eat, resulting in another quarrel -_- But less than 3 minutes after the major huge-ass quarrel, they are sitting in the same wheel and eating together. They really got some memory problem or something.

ARGH. I got B+ for Lobo. Ya, I know it's fine, but I was crossing my fingers and hoping that maybe I could get an A-. And I already bombed with a B for stupid CLS. CLS is the bane of my bloody life. I CANNOT SAY I HAVE LEARNT ANYTHING AT ALL FROM CLS LESSONS. I know prop law is probably screwed, I can only cross my fingers that I get a B+ at best. Then it's left with FA, which was going really well UNTIL the final paper. This is so depressing. I need to go shopping but I'm so reluctant to spend big $$$. Haha. I want to buy my prada or miu miu bag =( I actually wanted the Mulberry Bayswater or the Oversized Alexa, BUT, THERE ARE LIKE A MILLION AND ONE FAKES EVERYWHERE IN SINGAPORE. Blogshops are one of the culprits. Every time I go out, I see like soo many girls carrying the FAKE Alexa bag. HELLO. ___ inspired bag = FAKE BAG. Okay, I'm going off topic. So, I'm saving up, or at least for the moment, I THINK I am saving up for my next bag. Will be the first bag that I buy with really my own $$$. I'm selling my MJ bag. Fine, for those of you whom I actually consulted with before buying, yes yes, it was an impulse buy since I actually like medium sized bags because I have lots of things to bring around with me and I hate rationing the stuff I can bring just because my bag is too small. BUT HEY, the colour is damn pretty okay. So if anyone wants to buy my MJ bag, or knows anyone who might want to buy over my MJ bag email me okay!

I only used it less than 5 times, and all those times are like carry to z/o/u/k, then put into lockers, then carry home. IT'S LIKE BLOODY BRAND NEW. No scratches, no stains, no wear and tear whatsoever. Plus I bought it in end April 2010, and it's from MJ's Spring/summer collection! It's now kind of like a "classic" since the same bag (but in diff colours) was launched for Fall/winter 2010. It's a MJ XL Single in red! 13.5" Shoulder strap drop. 10" x 8" x 3"
It was selling at the boutiques at S$1250 but now I'm letting it go at S$900 okay! EMAIL ME!
Now that my shameless bag-selling-advert is over. Haha. My beans are buddies again =) They still have their usual petty squabbles. But at least it's not the "I WANNA BITE YOU TO DEATH" kind. Soyabean is back to lying in his rubbish -_- I now resort to smelling him every now and then in an attempt to check if he sat in his pee again. He is still nice smelling for now!
Worked for 7 hours, slept for 6 hours, then worked for 20 bloody hours. Can die. At least the pay is good =) The number of horrible people you can see in 1 night is amazing, climb barricades, open up the barricades, haven't gone in to ZO already totally gone, try to talk their way in, show you half a ticket stub and want to go in, etc. AND FOR THE BLOODY CHEAPSKATE PEOPLE, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, F OFF. DON'T EVER COME FIND ME. The best part, even though I was in Sentosa for 18 hours, I never even once went into ZO, never even step on the sand once. Haha. So I think it still counts as I have never gone to ZO before. Next year luh.
Dragged myself to the bf's house for dinner thinking its just the two of us ordering pizza hut delivery for dinner. Surprise surprise, when I got there, there was a table full of people playing poker -_- Me make-up-less. Normally I'll still at least have eyeliner on, today, all I had on was some stupid moisturizer. But I don't care already luh, I'm sooooo tired even now, I fell asleep less than 5 minutes after my head touched the pillow at the bf's house while he was playing poker. I normally don't fall asleep that fast. And I think we're (v12) going to Universal studios on tuesday!!! woohoo! Finally! I'm quite pathetic, until now also haven't even gone once. Looking forward to the indoor roller coaster!

Went to watch the dinos prance around yesterday at the indoor stadium. I must admit it was really not bad! Especially when the T-rex decided to stare at the audience and roar. Would have loved to upload the photos now, but I have to get my ass to z/o/u/k at 1pm and I need breakfast and lunch! At least today is not a heels day, WE GET TO WEAR FlIP FLOPS, WOOHOO. Not that I don't like wearing heels, I LIKE BEING TALL TOO! Can see the top of some people's heads! Just that you try wearing more than 4 inches for more than 6 hours, see whether your leg muscles pain or not! I think I going to quit my gym (okay, I only do yoga and pilates), haha, standing in my platforms is practically a work-out already luh! I hope there's a lot of food today AND PLEASE DON'T RAIN.
And the nice bf has been fetching me from work the last two days =) Likey you!
I sat at the hair salon for 2.5 hours straight just for a cut and treatment. Sit until butt pain. Cannot imagine how I sat through more than 4 hours when I permed my hair the last time. Tmr we're going to play Wii at Vinay's house. Then my first day of work at Z/o/u/k. Yup, no more clubbing, now it's work!
Okay, so on the last day of the cruise, the guy in charge of the activities or something, put together the Top 10 funniest things that people ever asked the cruise staff. Can't remember all, but here are a few!!
1. Has this ship ever sunk before? (wth, if it sunk before then you obviously will not be here right)
2. *there's a gallery showcasing all the photos of the holiday-makers taken by the cruise's photographers for the people to buy* The photos are not numbered, so how do I know which one is mine? (hello. can't you differentiate yourself from everyone else?!!?)
3. Do these stairs on the ship go up or down? (seriously.)
Okay I can't remember anymore. But the floor is still moving yes. For the record, I will never go on a cruise again, unless it's to Alaska or one of the Poles or the Caribbean or equivalent.
Going to finally cut off my yucky ends of my hair tmr, and go do something about my chipped nails. Oh. And we're going to watching the PRANCING DINOS on Friday. *dinosaur roars*
MY EPIC PHAIL CAR MOMENT OF 2010 --> (Well, before this, the time that I drove the car into my own house's gate while trying to reverse out was probably THE epic fail moment. But this apparently wins that hands down)
I went to meet the bf for dinner at J8 just now, happily picked him from his house and drove there. Parked the car, went to eat sakae because I was craving for my egg sushi. Happily went to buy some stuff then as we were walking back to the car, I started to look for my car keys. COULDN'T FIND THEM. Searched all the way until we were at the car, still no sign of them in my bag. THEN, I saw that the car door was unlocked, AND THE KEY WAS IN THE IGNITION SLOT OF THE CAR. Yup. Somehow or the other, I got out of the car without taking the keys with me, and didn't lock the car either (obviously because I didn't have the key) and happily went off for dinner. So the car sat in the carpark, unlocked and with the key in it for more than an hour. I know I'm fantastic. Bf has given up on my problems with cars. After that still made jokes and laughed at me -_- Listing all the times that I didn't lock the car door, etc, etc. I think now my credentials are near zero =(
So tired. Spent 2 hours plus at z/o/u/k having a briefing. I think I heard so much about the security side, maybe I can try out to become a bouncer! Haha. *SHINE TORCHLIGHTS IN YOUR PEOPLE'S EYES* I'm still super lost. HAHA. I RECOGNIZE NO ONE. FOR NOW, EVERYONE LOOKS THE SAME. Shall attempt to start figuring out who is who when I actually start work next week. Totally horrible at putting names and faces together. Am going to need lots of luck.
Anyway ended up being really late and rushed home to bathe my beans, wash the cage and then drive out and drop them off to Liesel's house. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF MY BABIES FOR ME =( I miss them already =( Then finally got home and had some sort of a dinner. Super f-ing hungry by then. I obviously didn't have the foresight to grab something before going to the briefing. Was at Cine watching Easy A with Carina before that. Stupid woman ps yesterday night! The movie wasn't great. Probably should have watched something else.
AND, I haven't packed my bag. Actually, I don't even have a bag to pack anything into! I'm just going to dump everything into a pile and then decide what to do tmr morning. If I could pack my stuff for BKK in less than half an hour, I can totally pack this in 20mins (or so I hope).
On the day before I go on a cruise, I get an email from a prof telling us what books to buy for next sem. What perfect timing!
