Restaurant Week - Au Chocolat @ MBS (21st March 2013)

Only went for one restaurant week date this time! Everyone came really late but the food was worth the wait!

Caramelized banana with crepes! Not that great for crepes actually. Their mains and appetizers are surprisingly better than their desserts. Saw a lot of breakfast/brunch type of food on their a la carte menu too! Should really go back and try them one day!

Birthday Dinner at Spruce @ Tanglin (11th April 2013)

The BF is a huge fan of Spruce's risotto and requested that we had dinner at Spruce for his birthday =) Haha, coincidentally we also had our first "date" here.

Ordered the Tapas Platter! The sticks were really so-so but the battered mushrooms were awesome!

Mushroom risotto with egg =) OMNOMNOM.

Managed to surprise him with a birthday dessert thanks to the wait staff at Spruce! AHAH. Saw genuine shock on his face.

Got their Ginger Date Pudding with Ice Cream and my favourite Creme Brulee! I must say, the date pudding and caramel sauce at PS Cafe is better then Spruce's but the ice cream here is soo much better! It's as if PS Cafe uses some sort of Wall's vanilla ice cream while Spruce uses Movenpick/Haagen Diaz. Just love Spruce =)

Now that exams + school are finally over, life is soo wonderful! I lazed the whole weekend away, went to IKEA to pick out a mirror and have Swedish Meatballs, watch Iron Man in IMAX 3D and had leisurely lunches! Going to meet the BFF for lots of shopping action and catch-up before going to work! Apparently it's Mambo tomorrow night? Not much of a Mambo fan. I love TGIW. HAHA.

Back to work at Zouk to see all lovely colleagues on Friday.
Iron Man 3 in IMAX 3D on Saturday.
Meeting up with my dear friends who I have not seen in a LONG while.
Siem Reap in 2 weeks time.
Europe in 5 weeks time.
Loads of clubbing.
L4D2 Zombie-killing marathon.
BKK in July.

Because I am just so distracted from studying.

Last day of school (two weeks ago)! *hearts* to my friends in law school who got me through the four painful years!

THE GIRLS =) Somehow we all came to school in florals, was totally unplanned!

Random studying day at Siglap Macs. Had a bet with Vinay and Amanda that they had ice cream at 2am! My prize = CHOCOLATE SUNDAE. AHAHA.

Got the law school bear from the SMU Shop to commemorate the end of law school. FINALLY. As of today, THREE MORE PAPERS TO GO and I'll be a free!! =D

Finally went to hijack the photo booth with Red outside Zouk two Wednesdays back! I think the theme was kitties gone wild, hence the loads of cat-theme stuff! HAHA. I always wondered how they made all the photo booth pictures/colours turn out so nice!

My last presentation in SMU ever!

Sherry and I attended William's 21st birthday party at his condo at Cove. As you should be able to tell, it was safari-themed! The food was super cause it was bbq-ed for you! Good stuff!

With Elton who came fully-dressed! AHAH. Sherry and I were the only ones wearing flip flops but we didn't care! HAHA. Both of us were too lazy to walk around in heels except at work! Havis FTW!

11th April 2013 - Oblivion + Spruce @ Tanglin

He took leave for his birthday so we caught Oblivion at Lido because we didn't feel like going far! We are such gluttons; pizza + coke + sweet popcorn + bubble tea, all during the movie! Oblivion was not bad but it kind of mind-f**ks you in the middle of the show, something like the Inception sort of confusion.

Birthday dinner at Spruce. The boy keeps going on about how they have the best mushroom risotto, which is quite true! Beats the one at Modesto's and Marmalade Pantry hands down! =D

13th April 2013 - Mink

Part 2 of birthday celebrations! Had Ah Yat Seafood at Turf Club and then to Mink to party! I just realized I don't have any other pictures with me except the ones in Sherry's phone! Binglin + Sherry + MingYi popped by at around 2 plus to club too!

Front office reunion! =) Happy times!

I look like I don't have exams anytime soon ah! HAHAH.

Okay I think it's time to get back to studying. WHY.

It's always a good time

Haven't really been here in awhile! Been really busy churning out my Tax Law and EAL assignment. It has just been non-stop writing of assignments for the past two weeks and I'm glad I'm finally done. Now I have to start revising for finals, THE LAST EXAMINATION IN MY SMU LIFE =) Need to be more productive because I'll essentially be burning the whole Thursday + Saturday + Sunday celebrating the boyfriend's birthday. It kind of started tonight with my mummy treating him to black pepper crabs at the Big Eater seafood restaurant near my house! I swear that we ate way too much! Plus we got Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough ice cream so I'm really in a food coma now! Haha. But I've no complaints here!

Anyway, to holiday plans!! I've booked my trip to Siem Reap (May) and to Europe (May to June)! Plus there are tentative plans for KL (June/July) and BKK (July). HAHA. It's going to be an epic summer holiday before reporting the courts to start the Part B stuff! Last summer holiday ever! Going to spend the rest of my time enjoying life and lazing around, something that has been severely lacking in the last few weeks. Everything in life is starting to fall into its place so all is good =) I'm a happy girl.

Freaking out.

I was looking through Facebook when I suddenly realized that OMG, this is my last week of school in SMU. Currently sitting through my last Tax Law lesson and it feels scary. Not because I have exams in slightly over two weeks time, but this is somewhat the end of my studying life. I theoretically still have to do Part B for six months, but after that, I actually will start my working life. January 2014 seemed so far away when I signed my training contract in January 2012. Now, January 2014 is quickly approaching. OMG. Okay, calm down and don't think about it.

Went double-dating with Sherry and Binglin before work two Fridays ago =) It was a super last minute decision to go eat guo tie in Chinatown and we were both complaining how the guys have never been to eat there! The amount of food that was devoured by the four of us was scary - 40 dumplings, a plate of prawn rolls and a bowl of mee hoon kuay soup! HAHA.

The BF also got me Krispy Kreme to satisfy my craving =) *hearts*
