Korean Holiday (Part 2)
12th to 15th December 2012 - High 1 Ski Resort
Spent the morning taking a ski bus from Seoul to High 1 Resort! It's was almost 4 hours of sleeping + snacking before we reached! We went there because none of us have ever tried skiing and we though it will be fun to roll around in so much snow!
Paris Baguette's chocolate and cream bread for breakfast on the bus! Snowman themed for Christmas!
Snowy landscapes throughout most of our bus ride.
Waiting to check in to our Mountain Condominium room!
After settling the admin for checking in, our guide brought us to the ski rental shop to gear up!
Got goggles, scarves, skis, ski poles, jackets, pants, gloves!
The toilet paper in the resort is way too cute!
The moment we got into our condo, these two started whatsapping, etc non-stop!
We were starving by the time that we got to our room so we scrambled to the nearest eatery for some really late lunch! Beef bulgogi FTW! We actually came back here the next day because the good was so good!
The view from the balcony of our condo =)
The view from the corridor! The slopes opened at night too but we did not try them at night because it was way too cold!
We went skiing for the whole of the second day. No idea where the photos are but my brother and I almost died at the mountain top ski slopes. I don't think I will ever agree to go skiing again any time soon.
The next morning, WE WOKE UP TO SNOW! It started snowing really heavily as the morning went on! WAS SUPER EXCITED BECAUSE I WANTED TO MAKE A SNOWMAN!
In my PJs! Tee + shorts + polka socks!
Mummy then cooked french toast for breakfast and we went down after that! The brother and mother subsequently got into a very intense snowball fight. HHAHA.
Went to pick out an auspicious spot to build our snowman on! =) Contrary to what I originally thought, it is NOT EASY to build a snowman! Took my brother and I more than an hour to do it! Might have taken less time if we had a shovel but since we didn't, we had to use our hands!
Finishing him up!
Our end product! FROSTY THE SNOWMAN =D
Had our last dinner at the resort another restaurant in our building!
Super tired after building Frosty and kind of spent the rest of the night lazing around in the resort and in our condo!

In my mind
Sorry that I've been MIA. Confi research paper got me more stressed up than I would really admit to myself. At least it is OVER =D
Work was really f-ed up this week - touchy people, idiots who misuse IDs, etc. Sometimes I really hate working there, if it was not for the people in our "Snowman whatsapp group" and some of the genuinely nice regulars and members, I would definitely not have lasted this long. *HEARTS*
Some long overdue photos. HAHA. From January.
From one of the Wednesdays in January 2013. Sherry and I had dinner at Marmalade Pantry before going to work! She maintains that her Carbonara is the best pasta while I'm a loyal supporter of my Tiger Prawn Bisque Linguine! HAHA. Agreed to disagree! We also discovered their Truffle Fries!! OMNOMNOM.
Looking at how we were both wearing the same clothes as the above picture, I infer that this was from the same day. HAHAH. Called the woman to come over to Velvet to help finish the bottle of champagne. Finally figured out my champagne tolerance - 1 full flute = High for 1-2 hours. HAHAH. Shit ass tolerance. This is also why I never agree to go into the lounge or to go drink with regulars. GGXX.
On the TGIW Zouk DJ console with Red! TGIW again this Wednesday =D
This was on a Sunday in January 2013. HAHA. I like how I have no idea what dates the photos were taken on. The guys played soccer at The Cage in Kallang and we agreed to go watch?!?! I think we only arrived 20 minutes before they ended. AHAHAHA. Then someone insisted that we go to Dunman Food Centre to have wanton mee for dinner. It was okay but no where near Fei Fei's standard.
Then we headed over to Yi Xiang's house! The guys played mahjong while the two of us self-entertained with Guitar Hero and Dance Central 3. If we ever started a band, our band would be awesome okay!
Someone then split a whole jug of water on the floor and I decided to go clean it up! Made Sherry take a picture to prove that I am somewhat domestic. HAHA.
Started prodding a very sun-burnt Ming Yi with the drum stick. AHAH. Super random much.
Halfway through the night, we became really hungry and Yi Xiang mentioned that there were frozen tang yuan in the fridge! Hence, Sherry, Ming Yi and I went to help ourselves and made a whole bowl!
Finished off the night with Macs at Bedok Interchange at 2am! HAHA. One word - GLUTTONS. But who can say no to criss-cut fries and cheeseburgers right? =D
Back to studying =)
