Bintan Lagoon

Really badly buried in a pile of Criminal Law notes =( I should have started studying LONG AGO and slacked less. Sigh. 1 paper down, 7 more to go.
Oh well, on another note, here's my pictures from Bintan =)

Bintan Weekend Getaway! - 9th to 11th August 2013

Haha yes I'm aware that these are pictures from months ago. Decided that I better hurry with my holiday pictures before I leave for my next one in December! By then, it will really be a backlog! I do realize that I have not done posts on my Graduation Trip too! Will do it soon!

Anyway, I went to Bintan Lagoon with the boyfriend over the National Day weekend! It was my graduation present from him =)

On the ferry! Bintan Lagoon now has a ferry that goes directly to their resort! So we didn't end up at the usual Bintan ferry terminal!

We then decided to settle down at the cafe overlooking the golfing greens because our room was not ready yet!

Nasi Padaing + Club Sandwich!

I proceeded for a swim after lunch because it was such a hot day and our rooms were still not ready =)

We decided to have dinner at the main restaurant that night! Kuhn had the buffet while I had Nasi Padang! Wasn't really in a buffet mood that day!

We went the beach early the next day! After lots of soaking and lying at the beach, we decided to head to laze at the pool instead - because the pool has a pool bar. HAHAHA. Their fries are awesome because they are thick-cut and fried on the spot!

See how we strategically placed ourselves in the row of deckchairs close to the pool bar. HHEHE. He spent the whole morning addicted to the Bad Piggies game. Okay I will admit, the piggies are quite cute! They change their expressions depending on the cart that you build for them, etc!

Then I decided to go feed the Koi fishes in pond near the lobby while waiting for our buggy! The big ones are damn scary. Can actually see them swish the smaller ones away.

We then headed out for dinner at their beach front restaurant (cannot remember the name)! It was really nice to sit out on the terrace which is on the beach itself!

Bye bye Bintan!

I simply cannot wait for these 2 weeks of exams to be over. THEN IT'S OFF TO OUR PERTH HOLIDAY! =)

UPDATE

Been camping out at the BF's home a lot these 2 weeks. I have concluded that my powers of concentration (with regards to studying) are near to zero at home. Considering how it's not easy to drive around with my thumb injured, camping here seems like a great option! I feel really comfortable here even without him around, yet I do not feel totally as comfortable as in my own home, hence it kind of drives me to concentrate on what I'm supposed to be doing. Weird logic but it works! Plus having a roller chair is totally awesome. Imagine me doing a lot of spinning in the chair when I'm bored and no one is around. HAHA.

Okay, back to studying. I am currently quite behind time on studying. Damn.

Toffee

Toffee,

our little rascal that always thought he was a human,

and would sit on sofas and arm chairs,

the one who loved us all unconditionally,

the little kaypoh who would always follow us around even when we were doing the most mundane of things,

the guard dog who would always patrol the house and bark at strangers and dogs that he didn't like,

the greedy pig who was always stealing my chicken wings when they are left unattended even for less than a minute,

the silly one who would sit very still and listen to my motivational talks late into the night.

You will always be loved by all of us.

Rest in peace.

6th September 2004 to 12th November 2013.

We hope that you are in doggy heaven where there is forever a chicken wing buffet and lots of places to patrol.

Graduation shots with the v12 girls!

Don't say I didn't warn you beforehand, this post is just going to be 20 over pictures of the same 7 of us in various poses in parts of VJC!

13th October 2013 (Sunday) @ VJC

So after months and months of postponements, we finally took our v12 graduation photos (without the guys of course!). The poor guys are still in University and have not earned the right to take photos in graduation gowns! HAHA. All these photos are credited to Matt Ho who spent lots of time and energy on them!! THANKS A MILL MAHO! =)

We started out taking a formal shot! Some of us were not exactly in our right gowns! E.g. Vanessa is not from NTU! Hence I seem like the SMU graduate here but I'm not actually the only one!

We then found that they had artistically painted the extra classroom block that faces the main road!

Belle looking way too happy! Haha.

Omnoms

Yesterday was the last class of my Part B course! The first day of the course really feels just like yesterday! Soon it will be the final exams and it's off to WORK. Omg, the idea of going to work still has not sunk in yet!

So I went to Hot Flow Yoga with Sherry yesterday night right after my class. Haha, I swear I didn't even sweat as much as I did while in the Moroccan desert -_- I was saying that they essentially took all that hot air that they normally release out of the building/in the basement into that studio. HAHA. The last time I did any form of yoga was more than 2 years ago, so now all my muscles are bleah but it's not too bad! Aching but not the kind that keeps you awake at night! Shall see what class I'm up to next week! =)

Okays, off to go out with the law friends to have a cheap buffet lunch at Suki-ya and then some top-of-our-lungs karaoke session after!!
