Night Night

According to my very loose plans, I'm supposed to be doing two hours of readings today, but it's obviously not happening! I'm in the midst of attempting to finish the whole Leverage series because the show got cancelled =( Can't wait for all dramas to start again in January 2013 though! White Collar, Revenge, 90210, Criminal Minds, NCIS, NCIS LA, Game of Thrones, Body of Proof, Grimm, HIMYM, Big Bang Theory, Melissa and Joey, New Girl, Pretty Little Liars, Suits, The Walking Dead and The Vampire Diaries! HAHA. I'm a teevee-whore!

Debating if I should continue on my hunt for an iPad Mini tomorrow or just order one from apple.com.sg. It's going to take 2 weeks to deliver if I order online (2 weeks is really long but at least I know I'll get it by then) versus getting one from Singtel with a plan (no information about when Singtel will get it's stock - like wtf).

Okay, shall stop complaining and get a move on with posting pictures. Random ones first!

Red, Sherry and I on stage for TGIW a few weeks back! I think the theme was jackets or something? We only stayed for awhile because we had to cab home at 330am! TGIW last Wednesday was some sort of disastrous but fun! Drank some weird cocktail that was mixed with all sorts of alcohol and a few sour plum shots and become really high and giggly. Apparently I told Rick Rick all sorts of nonsense the whole ride home from Zouk. HAHA. Happy high is fine as long as I don't end up totally drunk and puking! =D

Sherry and I were on December's Juice Magazine picture wall for Zouk Flea and Easy! I was trying to lelong her off for $2! We didn't earn much that day because it totally poured like crazy outside and hence not much people came that day! But it was super fun and Gwen also got a stall right beside ours!! SUPER REUNION =D

Met up with Tifen on the day I was flying off to Korea! That woman was so excited to get her Jeffrey Campbells which were super pretty! She got the JC Night Walk with the nails at the heels!

20th December 2012 (Thursday) - v12 meet up @ Ben Chia's house, Eng Seng Seafood and Awfully Chocolate Katong

Haven't met up with v12 for insanely long because I couldn't make it for the last few outings! We started out by meeting at Ben's house for lunch --> Popeye's delivery! I still find it such a coincidence that I have 3 friends that I meet separately that all live in the same condo! Sihui wanted to play monopoly before dinner but apparently there wasn't time because we had to reach Eng Seng (in Joo Chiat) early to avoid the queue! Decided to take a group photo first before leaving because Matt Ho was not joining us for dinner! Ben's dog was really uncooperative during our photo-taking! Haha.

We should never ever have test shots because every looks very "huh"!

I think we reached Eng Seng at 5 plus pm? Can't remember if we ordered anything else besides the obvious fried you tiao, mee goreng and the awesome black pepper crabs! The fried you tiao was really good too!

I generally prefer chilli crabs to black pepper crabs because black pepper crabs are normally much spicier! But somehow, the ones here are totally not spicy at all? It was more sweet+salty if anything.

As per usual, it's not a v12 meet up if we don't eat all day/night! We moved over to Awfully Chocolate (but it was named nine thirty and someone kept saying about how we should stay till past 930pm to see if it closes at "nine thirty" as per it's name! Haha!) nearby!

Rachel insisted on holding up the menu aka Singaporean-at-food-outlet style.

We all ordered stuff to share so we could try out the different desserts! Vanessa, Rachel, Clara and I shared a Creme Brulee (though I admit that I ate the most of it =), stacked chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream and the hazelnut crumble (I think)!

I don't think I'll ever have enough Creme Brulee =)

Best out of the 3 (I'm really partial towards the creme brûlée =)! Kept calling it a slug because the bottom had a consistency of what I imagined a slug is like! AHHA. BUT IT WAS YUMMY.

ARGH. Still very conflicted if I should order my iPad mini online.

Mad Rush (Part 2)

Had a great TGIW yesterday! Songs were great and I ended on a giggly high because Red tried to kill me with sour plum shots and some weird coffee/chocolate-like alcohol. One thing I really hate is how your stomach churns when you drink too much alcohol! Thank god Rick gave me a ride home if not I bet I would have puked with lousy cab driving! This was from a few Wednesdays back! After exams but before Zoukout and Korea!

5th December (Wednesday) - Mink + Zouk TGIW

After clubbing at TGIW, nothing else is as fun! No more squeezing on the Phuture dance floor or any other club's dance floor, ONLY THE TGIW STAGE WILL DO! We went over to Mink for for the free drinks!

The free champagne! What I learnt that night is that you should NEVER mix champagne with anything else. The result is that you get really high/drunk really fast. Have no idea what I drank that night but I ended up puking really badly after awhile.

The ultra packed dance floor and this was only 1am! We didn't even last half and hour on stage because we were really drunk and high! Left Zouk slightly before 3am with Tifen and Sherry, while Pamela and Tricia stayed on! I think after last night, I have figured out the right amount to be giggly high but still able to dance/function --> 3 to 5 sourplum shots! Anymore and it'll end up a puke-fest later on! Will be working every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from now on for a month because the Velvet in charge is on reservist. That also means that I get to club TGIW every week! HEHE.

Brought my doggie to the vet for a blood test because my cousin's dog (same age as mine) was diagnosed with liver problems when he took a blood test. The test came back and my dog is perfectly healthy and will probably live for a really long time!! SO HAPPY =D The silly baby had a yellow bandage where the vet took blood from.

PS. Desperately trying to get my hands on an iPad Mini 16GB White but they are all sold out at Singtel =( I have very bad patience and I really want it NOW. Come one Apple! SHIP THOSE IPAD MINIS TO SINGAPORE ASAP!

Post apocalyptic world

Final results were released today! Although some of the component grades were already pre-released, it was still stressful to see how the grades would finally turn out. Thank god all but one module was okay. TWC is the bane of my life. The most surprising? Work and Family (which is a really stupid module) was higher than I expected plus it was moderated up one grade?!?!?! HAHA. Cannot believe my luck! Survived all my law modules too =D Shipping got moderated a grade up as well so I'm currently in a super good mood =D =D =D Studying harder in Yr4 Sem1 paid off! Shall continue doing so next semester although it's going to be a nightmare because all four modules are law modules. The amount of readings will be insurmountable. But then again, IT WILL BE THE LAST EVER SEMESTER OF SCHOOL LIFE. MUAHAHA. Can't believe that the end is near =D

Mad Rush (Part 1)

I'm back in Singapore =D Korea was fun and all but I'm glad to be home! Haven't even had a proper day to laze and rest at home since finals was over! It was exams then back to work immediately, errand running, meet-ups, Zoukout 2012 and straight to Korea after that! I want to plonk myself in front of the teevee and not move for a whole day, but I doubt that day is anytime near =( More meet-ups, Christmas shopping (because I haven't even bought a single present for anyone yet), more errands to run, waxing and nails appointments plus I need to help my mum out with her cake business!

These were from between the end of finals and before I left for Korea! Korea pictures will hopefully be up soon!

Medz @ Orchard Central Lunch with Liesel, Angeline and Vinay - 5th December 2012

This was our after-exams celebratory meal!! =D Medz has 50% off for students if you pay between 3pm and 5pm (can't remember the exact time) I had a Salami Rosti, a Coke, Bread pudding, Creme Brulee and Churros! GUESS HOW MUCH I PAID! $14-$15 FOR EVERYTHING. SUPER HAPPY.

USS Halloween

USS Halloween Horrors (Sunday) - 28th December

We went to USS Halloween Horrors Night the night after Zouk Halloween! It was super fun cause we went to all 3 haunted houses + transformers ride (where Sherry and I were screaming our heads off scolding Megatron) + battlestar galactica! Plus we only paid the student price ($48!) =D Quite worth it!
