Just spent my whole afternoon sleeping/lazing in bed. It's so nice to have these kind of afternoons where I don't have to feel guilty for not studying. =) But then again, there is work tonight. Super not used to working anymore after taking a 2 week break! I debated for a few minutes about where and in what position I used to stick the card reader to the table, then doubted myself a lot about whether I was clicking the right clickers (we had 5 clickers at Velvet last night, bleah!) Haha. Going to work early tonight because we're having free KFC for dinner!! =D

Weekends are almost here!

Was devastated during lunch hour today because Hot Tomato at Raffles Place has disappeared! OMG. DEVASTATION. In the end I had to eat Asian Kitchen and to make up for it, I over ordered because I essentially wanted to eat a lot of different things. Wonder what I should eat tomorrow! I think it's most probably going to be Subway or this hot, new sandwich place called Smoke Shack (I heard that it is quite good) which replaced my Hot Tomato.

My internship is going fine even though I'm the only intern right now! I think more are coming on Monday? =) Besides getting really sleepy right after the lunch hour, I think I am quite happy! =) Life now kind of feels like a mini-adventure! Haha. My next mini-adventure is Shenzhen! I have been so tired from work and previously studying so I haven't done much more research on the attractions! OMG. FOUR DAYS ON MY OWN IN A FOREIGN PLACE. The best part is that my mandarin is so pathetic that China Chinese have problems understanding what I'm saying -_- It's just as well that in bargaining during shopping, you just have to shout out numbers. Muahaha! Also just realized that I should go find out what frappes are called in mandarin. Hhaha.

The start of the end

Taking my first paper later at 1pm!! Then the second one on Tuesday 1pm. After that, I am free =D Okay not really, I am also starting a two-week internship on Wednesday. Haha. Talk about being free! The best part is that I'll be free from Legal Theory for the rest of my life (hopefully =).

Pamela's 21st at Graze (5th November)

Super posh restaurant and the food was yummy! But I had to leave right after the entree because I had to go to work =( Tifen says that the desserts were awesome and that she happily ate my share! =( Was surprised to see Roosh (photographer) there! He was the photog that I hired for my own 21st and then he was subsequently hired for Marjorie/Margaret's 21st! Hahah!

This is supposed to be a mini-celebration because my little brother's birthday was on the 10th of November! He had a craving for Ee-fu noodles and so we decided to go for a peking duck too =)

Last Night Out! (13 November)

And then there was the day that I decided to make up for lost movie-time, and proclaimed that we should watch back-to-back movies! Watched One Day (which was highly-raved about by Tifen) and followed by In Time! We managed to squeeze down a quick-20-minute-dinner between the shows!

Super over-priced beef noodles at 313's Food Republic. $7.20. THE WISMA ATRIA'S STALL IS SOO MUCH NICER AND IT WILL ONLY SET YOU BACK BY $5.50!

Random studying night last Wednesday I think! Went to airport's Starbucks with Tifen and Pamela! Just posting a tempting picture of my Bread Pudding dripped with Caramel Sauce =) YUMMY.

December

Decided to fly off to Shenzhen on my own. My ticket is booked so no backing out now! Leaving on the 13th of December, then my mum and brother will only fly over on the 16th! Need to start thinking about things to do/places to go to because I have all the days to myself and it's only till dinner that my dad will be free! The last time I went over, my dad got one of the secretaries to bring me out shopping for a day. But I must admit that it is quite weird having someone following you around and watching you shop without doing any shopping herself. So if my parents don't object, I shall try to go shopping myself!! My mum is really afraid that I'll get kidnapped/sold off/raped/etc because the shopping district (luo hu) is not exactly the safest place in Shenzhen! Shall see how! There are apparently also quite a few attractions there which I didn't have time to go check out the last time! Shall go research on the attractions after I finish study Civil Procedure!! =) Wanted to upload pictures but it doesn't want to load!!

Stupid

Ordered the wrong size for my own Victoria Secrets stuff. STUPID. Now I have to send some stuff back and it's going to set me back by S$40. ARGH. WHY. Really hate myself right now. So now, I'm waiting for multiple packages: 1 ASOS, 1 F21, 3 Victoria Secrets. WHY ALL NO TRACKING NUMBER. PISSED OFF.

Insane or what

Sometimes I think that I'm just insane. I worked from 830pm till 4am. I got home at 445pm. And since then, I have showered + wrote a Legal Theory discussion post + edited my negotiation essay + read one Legal Theory article. Right now, its 6:34am and I'm still feeling quite awake!

Debating if I should pre-order macs breakfast for later (11:30am). Having a set of warm hotcakes delivered to my doorstep should be enticing enough for me to wake up and start functioning right? Oh god, the sky is not even dark anymore. This is seriously evidence of having a really screwed body clock. At least I'm not working at at all till 2 weeks later so perhaps this would be a great time to re-tuned my body clock to normal!

Restuarant Week at Fremantle Seafood Market! - 10 October

Had some reviews from friends that it was just so so. Hence I was slightly apprehensive as to whether I was going to enjoy dinner. BUT HELL YEAH, IT WAS SUPER YUMMY. I seriously can't wait to go back have a meal there again!

Giant bottle of tabasco sauce!

This was my appetizer! Can't remember what it was called, but it has lobster, fish roe, prawns and squid (I think?!), with a thin layer of cheese over it! =) So-so because something in it was slightly fishy (I can't stand the fishy smell) but the lobster meat was super! =)

This is Jon's appetizer and I have no inkling at all as to what it is!

THIS IS PROBABLY IN THE TOP 20 NICEST THINGS I EVER ATE IN MY LIFE SO FAR! Seafood risotto! It has scallops, prawns, fish, on top of a bed of risotto! THE RISOTTO IS THE BEST PART BTW.

Dessert! Nice but normal! Almond cheesecake with almond ice cream. I hate almonds so unless you're an almond lover, it's really so-so.

Restuarant Week at Garibaldi! - 12 October

Second time eating at Garibaldi's! This time the food was better since I went with another risotto! I suspect it risotto fever because I was watching a lot of Hell's Kitchen and Chef Ramsay kept shouting about the risotto during that period!

Blissful Brides Wedding Fair - 14 October

My mum is now dealing and supplying wedding stuff; wedding favours, decorations, matching jewelry for the bridal party, traditional wedding shoes, etc! So she participated in a Wedding Fair and I went to help out! Her rule was that we had to wear cheong sams while tending to the stall because she has sourced and is now providing cheong sam tailoring services! The one that I am wearing is actually my mum's, which she had tailored previously for past CNYs! Super inspired right now to make one or two cheong sams for CNY 2012!

4th November - Velvet Reopens!

Was really busy that night so this was all the pictures that I took before being swamped.

Caught soyabean sleeping so cutely the other day and I just couldn't help it but scramble off to take a picture of him sleeping! He normally sleeps in his wooden house at night, so I guess this is one of his afternoon nappy hideouts!

Accidentally woke him up and he looks so unhappy. HAHA. CUTIE PIE.
