Ho Ho Ho!

So we started off this jolly season with Christmas Eve dinner with the Leu family at District 10 (UE Square)!

Then we followed up with Christmas Day lunch with the Kuhn family at Muddy Murphy's (Triple One Somerset)!

After lunch I even had popiahs and ham at my counsin's house! Haha, ate way too much these two days! Omnomnoms!

Halloween 2013 ~

26th October 2013 (Saturday) - Halloween

So it was halloween again! As per usual, no one wanted to be part of my pirate gang. HAHA super sad I know. This year, we just went for the disfigured look. Didn't take much pictures that night because we were kind of busy and it's really troublesome to get out of the counter to pose for pictures!

Thinking about it, I thought I would miss the place more than I do now. A lot has changed in that place as have I, but I would always maintain that I grew up over more than 2.5 years that I worked there. No regrets!

Made the mistake of smiling in this photo because that's my first reaction when taking a picture. HAHA. Only after reviewing the picture did I realize how ridiculous I look here.

3rd November 2013 (Sunday) - USS Halloween

It was my 3rd time at USS and Sherry realized that all 3 times that both of us have been to USS were together! HAHA. Plus both USS Halloween outings were with my Zouk colleagues!

Queueing for the Transformer ride! Super love that ride cause we kind of have a conversation with bumble bee/Megatron/whichever other transformer there is!

So we were going to pose to take a picture when "OWWW", we hit each other's heads. Not our greatest moment.

We convinced Ming Yi to lie on the floor to get his head "chopped" off! HAHA

We remembered to take a picture with the 3 Evil Sisters before we left! Last year, we actually forgot to get a group shot with the master puppeteer! We only realized that days after! HAHA.

One step forward.

Hosted my first dinner party at home without my maid. I guess this is how having dinner parties will feel like when I have my own home in the future and it makes me feel semi-accomplished. I have such happy times when my law friends come over! Haha, still cannot believe how we totally forgot to take any pictures during our Christmas/Tang Yuan party. Oh well! Am expecting a really busy week ahead since it's essentially my last week before I start my full time job! It's really going to be another huge step in life.

See you soon

Back from Perth! Landed in Singapore early Monday morning! Have way to many things to do and way to many people to catch up with. God knows what will happen when I start work on 2nd January 2014. I imagine that I'll be so tired from having a full time job that I'll probably crash on my bed once I get home.

Really enjoyed my Perth trip though I got really crazily hot towards the tail end of our holiday! Pictures up on my next post but are already uploaded on FB! Went to town to grab Christmas presents and well, I must say I am a really efficient shopper! ALL PRESENTS SETTLED. Sephora is really one of my favourite places! Spent almost any hour there and you just feel like you need and want everything in that store! Sephora = make up wonderland! But I resisted and didn't get anything for myself! Such a rare occasion to go into a Sephora and not get anything!

These 2 weeks are essentially my last 2 weeks before it's working life forever! Going to chill my way through them! =) Great start to the week!

Brief respite

Today I managed to go through my revision for tomorrow's paper pretty quickly (I have no idea if anything is really in my head, I'm just hoping for the best) so I went to the hair salon. I was really hating on my fringe or should I say non-existent fringe since it has become so overgrown that I would no longer classify it as fringe. Also got my hair permed (like finally) which meant that I spent 345pm till 745pm sitting in the salon that resulted in my butt aching. Really cannot stand my badly damaged hair hence I decided not to re-colour it, not that it's in a much better condition actually.

Had a really bad Monday. It was as if nothing was right that day. It was rainy and cold which is not good weather when you need to go out. First we didn't realize that the side gate was open and walked a whole round to get out of the school. Then we walked with our umbrellas, which did not adequately cover us, only to find out that the place was closed for that day -_- So we had to walk back which meant getting even wetter than we already were and then settling for canteen food (luckily it was not bad). Then the terrible IP Law paper which was more of a see-how-fast-and-how-much-can-you-write-in-2-hours kind of exam. There was no time to finish the paper which equated to disgusting handwriting and me using bullet points for the last few parts. Then I wanted to get my nails done in an attempt to cheer myself up, but no, there were no slots at all for that whole day. What a wonderful day.

Thank god that I had a 1000 times better day today.

Okay, wish me good luck for my paper tomorrow and two more on Friday! Then it will really be NO MORE EXAMINATIONS FOR ME FOREVER.
