Everything to do with the holidays

I was dreadfully sick today. Somebody who just came back to Singapore decided to message me at 9 something am. Which resulted in me no longer being able to sleep, and then I got a headache, then a fever, but it miraculously disappeared after 2 panadol tablets, 1 plate of char mee so-called cooked with love, at least 3 cups of water and 2 hours of sleep. I got quite a scare okay, because I thought it might be dengue fever! Some stupid mosquito bit me yesterday, then my area occasionally will have dengue cases (I bet it's because of all the construction going on). I was afraid that I had to cancel tmr's gathering, new year eve's party, not go to a bbq tonight, and that I have to lie in the hospital bed for my first week of 2009! But haha, I don't have dengue =) So all is well =)

Going off to sleep, and everyone, please don't call or message me before 10am, unless it's life and death situation or near that.

It's that time again! The Holidays!

Frosty the Snowman would like to wish YOU a Merry Christmas! =)

"Damn, I'm melting."

Okay, I know it not really a nice sounding thing to say especially during holidays, but somehow, I think some of my friends seem to have died during the Christmas Holidays, or maybe they are just not in Singapore. So I spent Christmas eve eating buffet at Parkroyal with Jon, my mummy, brother and maid. Then went to so called "count down" to Christmas at my auntie's penthouse. Then today went visiting to my cousin's house then watched YES MAN at century square with Jon, mummy, brother, maid and another auntie. GO WATCH IT. It's really damn freaking funny. Laughed my ass off =) And right after the movie, we rushed home to watch the 9 o'clock show on channel 8! That's why we watched movie at tampines, if not for the show, it's off to The Cathay!

Tomorrow we're going fishing! Yes, REAL FISH. Those that can jump when they're out of the water kind! Can eat for dinner kind! The kind you can buy at markets! Except that we're going to fish them out of a BIG BIG pond using a REAL FISHING ROD with REAL BAIT. Then go to a party at night, and maybe go clubbing after that.

Will upload my Shanghai and Hong Kong photos when I actually get them from my brother!

And I already finished 9 episodes of Gossip Girl. Okay, maybe I'm not that fast =)

AND, haha, I got a new GUESS bag. Next time I want Gucci okay! =)

Sugar We're Going Down.

I slept for only 5 hours last night. Whatever happened to beauty sleep?!?! All because of my driving basic theory test =) Silly me decided to book the 915am one, and at Yio Chu Kang, you know, the red mrt line after orchard after Bishan almost at Yishun. But nevermind, I passed, and I think that's all that counts=) The provisional driving license that you get is really just a flimsy piece of paper =( So no style. Haha. And when I complained to my mummy about it, she said, the style comes with the driving. So now, a "thin, paper license" allows me to drive on the road for lessons. BEWARE. Haha. And don't scold those L-plate drivers for driving slowly or anything okay, it just could be me! So no more laughing or swearing at them okay!

And why are all the shops having sales and NO ONE actually told me! This is so horrible! Hence, tmr I'm spending the whole day shopping in town =) To celebrate sales, and Christmas, and new year, and help the economy, and whatever else crappy reason I can think of to go shopping! BIG SMILES. And I want I want I want to watch twilight =)

Oh, and I finally have Gossip girl season 1 and 2 DVDs. I just finished episode 4 and oh man, Blair has the prettiest dresses. I wished I had them =(

I'm home =)

When the plane touched down in Changi Airport at 7:33pm today, you cannot imagine how bloody glad I was. Now, I feel so at home and connected. Haha. And my maid cleared my room up. I think she couldn't stand the "very very messy" state of my room and decided to clear it all up while I was gone. Had quite a shock when I walked in.

Suddenly

I have given up on shopping in Shanghai. It's 90% wintry type of clothes, and I don't like the other 10% of them. So I did my nails and hair today, spend shopping money on these kind of stuffs. Same price as the manicures I did in Bali, S$5 =) Cheap ya? But added another S$5 to use OPI base coats and stuffs.

And I'm taking my basic theory test on the 22nd, the day after I come back =) Cross fingers that I pass! I'm flying to Hong Kong tmr. So bye bye Shanghai. Hopefully the shopping in Hong Kong will be better than in here. And once I get back to Singapore, I desperately need a job! Tuition is so not working out, no calls from the agency for about a week already. So maybe I'll attempt waitressing, receptionist, some not fun admin job or something.

At a cold cold place

Shanghai is cold. It's going to be zero degrees tonight =) I hope it snows though! And we might play fireworks tmr night or something. Then we're going to fly to Hong Kong on wed. My toes are dying from the cold and from the walking. And finally went to the hair salon to wash hair today! Costs 30 yuan = S$6, after upgrading to the best loreal shampoo. Then they still help you clean your ears, massage shoulders, neck, upper back, head =) So wonderful right?!?!? S$6 can just buy you a macs value meal! Then wearing mini skirts and double layer of stockings and leggings is not exactly warm enough, but it's super troublesome when you need to go to the toilet, pull down, then stretch up all over again. try that 4 times a day, it's tiring. Haha. Then some toilets are not bad, but some are just pure yucky =( Not smelly, just dirty and stuff.

Going off now, need to wake at 7am tmr... =)

So, I'm leaving tmr!

Off to Shanghai tmr morning =) And then to Hong Kong before coming back on the 21st =) It's such a WONDERFUL time to go there. Think China milk and HK bird flu. So I'm bringing tons of kit kat chunkys and cadbury milk chocolate bars, along with fruitips and eclipse mints and whatever else I can find in my kitchen's junk food drawer. My bro is bringing a carton of Magnolia Fresh Milk to eat with his Kokokrunchies. I highly wonder if customs are going to like let him through. Haha.

Damn freaking pissed. Facebook uploading thing is an ass. I have tried uploading prom and post prom photos for the 4th time okay. AND IT JUST SAYS: Upload Failed. Stupid. Sorry, just have to wait till I get back okay! v12 gathering photos are on Tristan's blog and his facebook =)

Anyway, took the theory trial test today at SSDC. I didn't know that you're supposed to use your fingernail to touch the correct answer etc, so I kept using my finger to touch the screen in all sorts of ways. Sometimes can sometimes cannot. So I started jabbing the screen very hard multiple times resulting in me skipping like 4 questions in a row. Haha. Now I'm a little unsure about whether I should have signed up for auto instead of manual. Sounds a little scary. My first driving lesson is on 5th Jan =) I think I'll shudder my way there. IMAGINE ME DRIVING. Seriously, I cannot imagine driving, driving a car seems like such an OLD thing to do, are you sure I'm old enough?!?!

I'm so bloody tired now. just finished packing my two bags. haha. ya, TWO. this is such an unfinished post, but oh well, I need sleep.

Ma Lin Lucheon Meat is back =)

I'm soooo soooo sorry if anyone happens to be waiting for me to upload prom/post-prom photos, my internet refused to work for days =( AND HELL YEAH, I MISSED MY COSMETICS SPREE. I'm so pissed, considering I actually had to borrow money from jon to deposit into my account to go order them, BUT MY STUPID INTERNET WAS NOT WORKING, so now it's closed. I've been so horribly busy the last few days that I really need rest and sleep. But there's just one million and one things to do and meet up with people before I fly off to Shanghai then to Hong Kong on Friday. And I won't be back till gazillion days later. Okay, gazillion days = 9 days, that's 5 days in Shanghai, 4 days in Hong Kong =)

My busy last week and next =)
Tues - Senior dinner and dance at Swissotel the Stamford, Post-prom at O bar, Prata at gardens
Wed - Kenny Rogers dinner at Suntec then arcade and bishi bashi at marina which I won hands down
Thurs - S38 class outing to botanical gardens
Fri - Went training at Tpy Safra =) Zouk and Phuture
Sat - WATCHED BOLT 3D at Lido, then Waraku dinner at marina (GO WATCH BOLT, HE'S SO BLOODY CUTE, FLUFFY AND EVERYTHING=)
Sun - Dim Sum Lunch buffet at Park royal, then mah-jong party at home, then supermarket =)
Mon (tmr) - v12 gathering at Louis's house, then shopping with sher
Tues - Go play tennis in attempt to keep fit =)
Wed - MAMBO =) To make up for last week cause my stupid legs were aching like hell after prom and post.

Prom and Post-prom and post-post-prom.

Sdd was like can I say, a little boring. I'm sure the juniors put in a lot of effort and time etc, but sorry, I really wasn't entertained. And many also said that prom was more of to take pictures with everyone more than anything else. Maybe because we were busy settling post-prom tickets etc, but oh well, we left right after dessert was served, and I only found out who won prom king and queen well after 2am after locating random vj people outside o bar. But, I'm sure many many people enjoyed post-prom =) probably not those who were obviously drunk and puking, but I guess the crowd on the dance floor was enough to testify that it was fun=) But I want to complain. Haha. Why everyone so sweaty!! IT'S LIKE Gross. Not only the guys okay. The guys amazingly sweat through their shirts and vests and jackets, but the girls too! I think they off the aircon from 245am onwards but while I was fighting my way through the dance floor to get to the lounge way earlier, it was very disgusting =( And I can't Mambo tonight because I have 4 blisters on my toes and my legs are aching like shit, because very smart-ass me wore 4-inch heels from 6pm to 3:30am, then going to serangoon gardens to eat prata and reaching home at 6+am. My mummy is obviously very happy I'm not clubbing tonight because she thinks I've gone crazy to club two days in a row. Haha. And we have a class outing at botanic gardens tmr! So cute! But can imagine the mosquitoes and heat already. I want to watch BOLT in 3D too! Please don't watch Quarantine. It's freaky and scares the hell out of me. It's from a first person's point of view and you feel like the zombie-like stuff are actually coming right at you. DON'T WATCH OKAY.
