I fell down at work yesterday =(

Now a have 2 grazed knees with blue-blacks on them! So sad =( It was so bloody painful to bathe with it.

I'm probably at one of my brokest moments in months right now. Haha. I'm paying for all the stupid shopping I did. I need my pay to come!

Working at it.

Just started working AGAIN, after 1 and a half weeks of holiday (from work). Didn't remember my legs aching so much =( Supposed to be working tues, thurs, fri, sun this week, but my manager called today and say work today! So now I'm working 4 days in a row!!! I seriously hope I get let off early today, working till closing for 4 days in a row will probably drive me nuts! *cross my fingers* Wah, if not I will have worked 31 hours for this week, which means I'll probably spend my whole daytime sleeping, night-time working, but also equates to lots of $$$ =) More then $200! Muahaha! But you know, it's quite weird/saddening that when I am going to work, everyone else is like getting off work, esspecially obvious in the mrt stations. Oh well, I'll probably have killed myself doing an office job anyway. Everyone says it's real boring and you have to master the art of keeping awake while having absolutely nothing to do. At least if we're bored when there are no customers, we can sprinkle salt! (so voodoo!) Haha. And if I add the tips I actually get with my actual pay, I realised I'm getting more than $9 an hour. Good money =)

Signed up for all the funny compulsory stuff for SMU. Library don't-know-what, FTB camp, and some talk/briefing? Why on earth is uni so complicated!

When my baby is safely packed off to SISPEC tmr morning, I'll post pictures of part of my anniversary present to him okay! =)

I'm surprised

Right, being the smart ass me, I figure you'll come here within the next week or something, so ya, if you're actually reading this, good for you! Haha.

You really got me thinking now, how on earth you bloody know me so freaking well. It's scary when you know that I'm freaking blabbering on because I don't know how to say, and how can you know that I'm actually acting dumb at the times when I am pretending, know that I occasionally get too curious for my own good and attempt to go fishing, I know that you know what I'm actually curiously thinking about but not daring enough to ask, and am I right to say I know the answer to what I'm doubting and what the hell, this is getting very complicated. I swear I really didn't understand the second half of the very chim question you were saying just now, and ya, I think that you don't tell me everything, yes, because of me, you have probably graduated to becoming more whinny and I'm still angry that you managed to insult me 4 times within an hour (okay, fine, I'm just fakingly angry). Oh man, I feel a bit (only a little) sorry about tuesday and by the way, now I actually thought it's good for you. I don't know why I'm still not sleeping, probably because I slept so many hours this afternoon. Bleah. And right, I demote and promote you up and down all the time from good friend to bad friend to evil friend to irritating friend and back again all in the space of minutes. Haha. And if I remember correctly, you offered to console me if I PMS. Haha, I wonder what made you volunteer for that!

I freaking appreciate you, so yes, you know who you are, just play along with me the next time I play dumb to questions okay!

I think I agree that I'm a bad person, unless what I'm thinking is not true, then I think I'm an okay person =)

Aquamarine 06.06.09

Pictures from last saturday's buffet at marina mandarin hotel, before I forgot how yummy the food is and how much food there was! It was Seafood night with some special thai food section - $58++ but there's credit card discount and I got some voucher =) Be hungry =)

Shark's fin soup and don't-know what kueh. Shark's fin was not bad, tasty and like chinese restaurant kind! Not watery watery so I think the quality is quite good! Don't know about the kueh, Jon ate them, not me!

So bloody cute tabasco sauce! super small for individual use! We stole one home!!

Thai tom yum, green curry, seafood tom yum, etc! I don't like spicy stuff.

I think this is appetizer? some cold mussels in some funny sauce (jon says not bad, but he's bias since he loves mussels) Thai fish cake and other assorted stuffs.

Ice cream cones, cookies, chocolate sprinkles, maccaroons to go with the ice cream! It was exactly the same as for sat lunch, yam ice cream, strawberry, some sorbet and corn ice cream.

Muah chee, once again, it appeared for sat dinner as it did for the lunch. Not bad =)

The special thai desserts, red ruby, agar agar, coconut kueh, etc.

The normal desserts, choc truffle is WONDERFUL. Chocolate cake so so, more like chocolate then cake, also have layered cake, lapis sagu, I think there's pandan flavoured layered cake too!

MY FAVOURITE! ALL ON ICE. Black mussels, scallops, flower crab, PRAWNS, oysters, slipper lobster. jon says scallops are not bad, oysters are very nice, they provide lemon wedges too! Prawns are not bad, but still cannot beat the ones at greenhouse (not as juicy), lobster was a disappointment, a little on the mushy side and tasteless.

Cooked food! Have the pork in vinegar thing (Zhu jiao chu), roasted lamb (very nice), some assorted veg, crispy chicken (overly salty!), quite a lot of food, but by the time you get to the cooked food, you're probably too full to stomach much! =)

Drunked prawns!!!! Served by the chefs, I think they'll nicer then the ones on ice (which I think should by right be the other way round), good opponent against the greenhouse's prawns on ice.

Grilled tiger prawn! Again by the chefs, it's qutie big, but not easy to peel the shell off and by the time you're done, all you're left with is really a prawn that is the same size as the normal one, not really tasty, oh well, it did LOOK TASTY though.

Thai fried rice and thai fried kway tiao. Okay, like normal.

One of my favourites, prawn crackers! They had quite a few types! I think maybe 4? The brown thing is the CHOC TRUFFLE. MUST EAT. Bad spring roll. Don't ask me why I had cake, spring roll and crackers in the same plate! They just attracted me!

Mushy slipper lobster.

Chawanmushi is quite good! They are like snatched very quickly by very kiasu people. I saw a lady take 6 in one go!

decent assortment of sushi, there is also sashimi, very very good sashimi, fresh, cut on the spot by the sushi master =)

Love bread, so took 2 because I was greedy! The flour covered one is grape bread, the taste is quite like sniffing wine? I think acquired flavour, not really my fav, prefer the other one which is sun-dried tomato bread, nice tangy tomato flavour, nnot overwhelming, just ncie with my butter =)

There was also chicken rice, duck rice, char siew rice, roast meat, etc like the kind you'll find in a hawker centre, served by chefs, and phad thai, but we couldn't fit any more food, so didn't try it. My only problem was, WHERE WAS THE BLOODY CHOCOLATE FONDUE. That's like the life and soul of a hotel buffet to me, and it was no where to be found, I think it's because of the special thai food thing, so they removed it! So sad. bleah.

But overall good dinner, jon had 3 bowls of sharks fin, haha. Will come back soon, I want the chocolate fondue!!!!!

Anyway, went shopping today! Jon Pop-ed yesterday so I have my boyfriend back like before he enlisted, so nice =) Then had steamboat with Teo sihui, belle and tristan at bugis! Pictures from the pop and steamboat up soon =)
