Mulberry Cecily in Metallic Fur Print - Bark Brown

Just got this baby a few hours ago =) Have been trying to locate the Floral Patent Lily but stumbled upon this instead =) Have been debating whether to get a Lily or Cecily and kept going back and forth with the 2! Plus the girl at the Mulberry boutique at Hilton was so nice to call all the outlets to try to locate the patent Lily =) She also showed me a few Lily and OMG, the one in Slate Blue is so PRETTY. Too bad they have upped their prices and the fact that I'm already buying another bag makes buying the Blue Lily impossible =(

Anyway, super love the Cecily because there are 2 handles! One to carry on your shoulder like a normal handbag and the other shorter one to hang on the crook of your arm or hold in your hand! The print is also really pretty =) SUPER HAPPY RIGHT NOW =)

Hope that my friend manages to get the Prada that I want from Paris *cross fingers* New bags just in time for CNY =D

Tax Law class in progress

Dyed my hair dark red! No more light brown hair =( Still trying to get used to it! All these are still with my old hair colour! Found quite a few photos that I have not uploaded including those from my trip to Korea! I shall just start with photos from 2013 first and clear the 2012 backlog another time! =)

18th Jan (Friday) - Supper after work

A super drama day because the 6 of us spent a whole hour after work arguing as to where we were going to supper at. Sherry wanted Swee Choon, I wanted Macs, Weilong wanted Spize and Binglin wanted Lor Mee. Rick wanted Pasir Ris Macs (which we ignored) and Ming Yi was good with anything. AHHA. We even resorted to playing open numbers to decide where to go and when Binglin won, Sherry and I immediately said it was a void round! I won the next round and everyone refused to legitimize it either -_- In the end, we agreed on Meng's Bak Chor Mee. After agreeing, it was still pouring like hell so we spent another half an hour debating the best way to get from the staff area to my car and then how to pack the 6 of us into my small beetle! We only reached Meng's at 5 plus am?!?! By the time we left Meng's, the buses already started operating and when I reached home, the sun was already coming up -_-

19th Jan (Saturday) - VJTT Lunch at MOF

Despite being really tired and operating on a severe lack of sleep, I dragged myself out for lunch. Thank god Pamela could give me a ride because I was really sleepy. Margaret and Marjorie came back to Singapore for the holidays and so we decided to all meet up! =)

Birthday 2013 =D

FYI, if anyone asks how old I am, my answer will be 21 okay! I'M SELF-DECLARING THAT ONCE YOU REACH 21, YOU WILL FOREVER BE 21 =D

14th January 2013 (Monday) - Marmalade Pantry with Tifen
Finally met up with Tifen after so long! It's always so nice to meet up with her =) We talk about all sorts of things and it's weird that we have a lot of similar thoughts on things! Anyway, we were thinking about what to have for dinner and since we were in Ion, we thought of Marmalade Pantry! When we asked for a table for 2, the waitress asked us if we were here for "the promotion" and we were like "what promotion?!?!". HAHA. DID YOU KNOW THAT THEY HAVE 1 FOR 1 MAIN COURSE PROMOTIONS ON MONDAYS?!?!?!? My favourite tiger prawn bisque pasta with scallops which was originally $24 became $12!?!?!? AHAHAHA *evil laughter* We also ordered truffle fries (Sherry and I discovered their wonderful fries a few weeks before, that story for another time =)!

I must say that the colour is really pretty! =) Almost gave in to temptation to buy more MAC stuff but managed to control myself =)

16th January (Wednesday) - Maki-san Dinner with Law Reg Classmates!

Spent the few hours before my birthday having Maki-san at Cathay with Vinay, Amanda, Zi Wei and Jon Chee! =) I'm having a Maki-san craving all the time! It's becoming a habit to go there for dinner every Wednesday after Law Reg class. HAHA. Om nom nom!! Have official made everyone fans of the place too =)

I then headed off to work! Work was really boring because it was soo empty?!? School has officially started and seems like no one was clubbing. Plus I had to actively plead with everyone not to get drinks because I do not want to get drunk. BUT...

at midnight...

17th January (Thursday) - Zouk

I tried to hide in the toilet and later the cupboard behind the Velvet counter to avoid the drinks but I was surprised with a cake instead! Super lots of hearts to my Zouk colleagues especially Sherry Wong Xiao Hui (HAHAH) !! =D =D

My first reaction after being dragged out of the cupboard.

Then I saw the 4 sour plum shots that Sherry got for me *heart sinks* She was debating whether to get 4 or 6 shots, thank god she decided only on 4! By the way, I totally died after the 4. AHHAHAH.

This is a picture of me screaming at Ming Yi to watch as I demonstrate to him how to drink a shot. Just last week, I bought a Snow White and 7 dwarves for his birthday and he only drank the beer and 5 shots plus he sipped the shots instead of downing them!?!?!? So I had to demonstrate the "right way". HAHHAHA.

This is me less than an hour later totally high and gone. Apparently I kept asking people to feel my very quick heart beating?!?!? I was also waving puke bags in the air until I went home at 1.30am. This is the second year that I went home way early because I got killed on my birthday. Last year I died after drinking half a flaming and my manager had to walk to me to the taxi queue to get a taxi home midway through work.

Also had surprise number two when bottles of triple berry vitamin water, malteasers and kit kat appeared at the Velvet counter! When I asked who put them there, someone replied it was an Indian guy. HAHA, I only have one Indian friend (after that night I realized I have two)! HAHA! Vinay and Liesel came down all the way to Zouk to surprise me! SUPER HEARTS HEARTS! I now have a video of me very high and identifying all my friends who were there that night! Sherry also reminded me as to how I declared that I was going to downgrade all of them from friends to acquaintances for getting me so high. Hahah. Went home soon after! Vinay drove my car back to my house while Liesel followed behind in her car to send Vinay home! Thanks so much all my dear friends =)

Spent the next few hours tossing and turning in bed because of the alcohol churning inside me. Woke up at 4am much sobered up and washed off my makeup! Then I saw an email notification that Angeline, Pei Hua, Liesel and Vinay got me an gift card on ilovebooks.com =) I am now enjoying my e-books on my iPad Mini =D THANKS!

I then watched dramas till 6am when I started to get a really bad hangover and had to force down biscuits and water because I knew I had to play badminton later.

I then miraculously managed to wake up at 1130am to go play badminton @ SAFRA Toa Payoh?`!?!? Of all things, I agreed to play badminton on my birthday! I only remembered that it was on my birth date two days before the actual day and by then we were short of players so I couldn't just not appear! Went to pick Vinay up and we were already half way there when I remembered that I didn't bring my shoes -_- Had to drive all the way home and back again! It was lucky that both Audrey and Eugene were late too and we only played from 1.30pm till 3pm.

Little Pancakes at Upper Thomson Road

Then had to rush off to Upper Thomson Road to Little Pancakes for tea with my mummy, brother, Gwen (my niece) and Bowen (my nephew) for a double birthday celebration! Bowen and I have were both born on 17th Jan but he's a year older!

Had the All Day Breakfast set! It's really good and I think that everything else on that plate was better than the pancakes (ironic much!)! Potato salad + cocktail sausages + scrambled eggs + salad + pancakes!

My mummy baked Bowen and I an Oreo Cheesecake to share! BTW, my mummy is now selling her cakes, $15 for a banana cake, $35 for cheesecake/oreo cheesecake/strawberry cheesecake/carrot cake/chocolate cake/durian mousse/avocado cheesecake)

My parents call me "yan" - kind of like my childhood nickname (some of my childhood friends still call me that!) and they call my brother "yang". They always get them mixed up and end up calling the wrong name -_- My brother and I used to laugh at them a lot!

Bowen and Gwen got me a Starbucks tumbler and a gift card! That tumbler has since been accompanying me to all my classes =)

After that my mummy and I went off to look at some show flats! Love looking at show flats because it really gives you many ideas about how to design spaces =) Everything is also so new and nice! Then spent the rest of the day lazing around at home cause I was still suffering from a headache from the night before.

Overall, I had a wonderful birthday thanks to my family and friends =) Thank you to everyone who made that day so special =) Also thanks to everyone who wished me and for the presents =)

Zouk Out 2012

7th and 8th December 2012
Finally getting down to blogging about ZOUKOUT2012! =D This is the first ZO that is two days long at Siloso beach! It was a crazy crazy week! It was TGIW on Wednesday, Avicii on Thursday, ZO Day 1 on Friday and ZO Day 2 on Saturday! Sherry and I planned to stay at a friend's house at Sentosa Cove for the first night because we were too lazy to go home an then appear back at the beach in less than 12 hours - there would have been no way to have a good sleep before heading for Day 2!

We started the day meeting at Zouk at 3pm and a bus brought us to the Sapphire Pavilion in Siloso beach! The guys were all busy setting up the barricades and signs while we two essentially did nothing but eat and chat. Sherry showing her bread with lots of cream?!?! I think we were laughing about something but I can't remember what, haha.

After awhile we finally got something to do - give out the contractor wristbands. There was this stupid but very strong fan that kept blowing my fringe the wrong way, hence the clip to the side fringe! We were armed with our angry bird and hello kitty fans respectively!

Towards the end of the 1st night, Sherry and I went to the Star Stage (the other stage was the Moon Stage) to party for a while!

With everyone who were dancing on stage! The atmosphere was awesome =) Wished we could have stayed longer but we had to go back to pack up the stuff! =( Maybe ZO 2013 will finally be my first as a customer!

We were then supposed to go over to a friend's house to stay but we ended up at William's house instead! Sentosa Cove is really nice but I can't imagine having to drive all the way out of Sentosa to get to the "mainland" every day. It's a really windy road that I think most of the way there is only one lane for either direction?

Elton was so nice to buy us lunch which we had at William's balcony. SEE THE AWESOME VIEW OF THE SEA IN THE BACKGROUND. Elton even drove his boat across and we could see him waving at us while we were eating!
