Beanie hide and seek

Just spent half an hour looking for my lost beanie. He decided to disappear while I was watching teevee downstairs. Sneaky little thing, no idea how he got out since the door was closed (though not locked). Now I have a runny nose from all the dust I have disturbed while looking for him. Squished him as punishment when I finally found him. Seriously, he is a SUPER NAUGHTY BEANIE.

This was the crazy sephora stuff. There's the benefit stuff, Kat von D eyeshadows (not found in SG I think), eyeshadow brush, bare minerals concealer (black pot), Smashbox eyeliner pencil (to replace my quickly depleting one), Urban decay All-Nighter Make-up fixer (I've been wanting this for soo long but the bottle costs $44, but bought it this time cause this is a baby travelling bottle, only USD11!!), 2 MAC eyeshadows (USD10 each, bloody cheap), OPI Silver Shatter (USD8.50) and a box of various brand's mascaras!

Bought 2 Tiffany charms to add to my lonely snowflake. The classic "Please return to tiffany" heart charm and a limited edition "XO". Will go to Tiff and Co. to get them soldered on tomorrow! =D And yes, even after tax, Tiffany is still cheaper than in SG. But don't bother trying to order them online unless you got a US credit card or something. I tried before and ended up REALLY DISAPPOINTED not being able to order them.

Bought this Victoria Secrets bra at USD15.99 (convertible to halter and low back). Laughing to myself the whole way that I paid it! On the left is a lace blazer from H & M! Original price was USD50 I think but it was on sale --> USD20! On the right is a dress (I think from F21) also on sale but can't seem to remember the price!

I also bought American Eagle shorts (you'll see it in my USS post hopefully coming up soon) and 2 tops! Bought heels for internship next week too! OH YA. ON AN IMPULSE BECAUSE IT WAS SOOO BLOODY CHEAP, I BOUGHT MYSELF A BABY PINK COACH WALLET. Now I can't decide whether to use it or not because uh, Coach is not really me, and I'm quite sure it was on pure impulse. They were having some 30% + 30% off sale and I freaking couldn't resist! Anyone want to buy it from me at cost price? =( If not I'll have to use it. Cost price is like USD85. HAHA. TOLD YOU IT WAS IRRESISTIBLE. I'm still quite okay with my $20 GUESS wallet. Haha. Also bought a COACH wristlet as a present, my Gucci Sunglasses (super sale cheap) and that's about it! Comparing to the amount of stuff I bought in BKK, I bought sooo little stuff! The clothes just didn't really interest me much since I already bought so much in BKK =( BUT NVM, I am already very happy with my Tiffany, sunglasses and crazy amount of makeup! =D

Every year I make this photo album for the bf which contains lots of photos from the whole year since the last album! Normally the album is handmade with the stuff from those Papermarket kind of shops BUT this year, I was in NY 2 weeks before my anniversary, so I opted for some faster, digital version! I went to photobooksingapore.com, downloading the software which was super easy and fun to use and made the below! You do the digital version of your book and upload it to them and they will print it into a super pretty album for you! It still takes up a lot of time to make okay! Think I did it over 3 days! They were having this June Mega Sale and all the stuff were at 50% off! So my album only cost me $61. This is the front cover and below are just a few examples of the pages in the book! I think I made a 40 page book if I remember correctly! FYI, the paper is damn high quality and is really nice. SUPER HAPPY WITH IT.

This was at Morton's! The part which I said the waiter would come over to introduce their main attractions in their menu and the different cuts of steak that they have. This is a LIVE Maine Lobster that you can bake whole. Dare not even ask for the price and anyway, IT WAS HUGE. Only I wanted to eat lobster anyway, so that's definitely out! At first I thought the lobster was of the dead variety because it was sitting very still on its plate on the cart. ONLY WHEN THE WAITER STARTED TO WAVE IT AROUND DID IT COME TO LIFE AND STARTED MOVING ITS FEELERS (OR WHATEVER IT IS) AND ITS CLAWS. SCARY THING.

They give every table an onion loaf and butter on the side! It's really gigantic, like a size 3 soccer ball! Last year we made the mistake of ordering too much cause we didn't expect ourselves to die from eating the loaf, our appetizer, a gigantic slab of steak with side plus dessert. SERIOUSLY OVERKILL. So this time we were smarter, obviously. If you still go do the same thing then you are totally asking for it. We only ate half the loaf (although it was damn nice) Then the bf had the seafood and steak set (soup/salad, steak + 1 seafood side) plus mash potato and wine. I had the baked lobster tail and a caesar salad. Okay, here I'm going to compare with Lawry's because I absolutely love Lawry's too! Lawry's is definitely slightly cheaper and their turning-bowl salad (or something like that) is much tastier than the caesar I had at Morton's (very forgettable). But the mash in Lawry's is so-so compared to the really nice mash in Morton's and there is even butter/sour cream/bacon bits to go with it!

I think I could eat lobster EVERYDAY. Super damn nice and although it doesn't look like there is much, there actually is! Was really full after this and I didn't have any sides except when I stole a few mouthfuls of the bf's mash potato! Better then the one at Lawry's because this is on BIGGER and tastier! Comes with the melted butter sauce (same as Lawry's) YUM YUM YUM. HEAVENLY. Maybe I should try growing lobsters in my pond so that I have lobsters to eat constantly!! MUAHAHA.

Told you that we killed the onion loaf.

FIRST THINGS FIRST!

HAPPY 3RD ANNIVERSARY BABES =D
(to all the people who are very shocked, HAHA)
Because I just landed at 8pm, we will be celebrating it tomorrow instead!
Like the sweet boyfriend he is (at least most of the time, hehe), he really booked Morton's instead of this don't know what french restaurant with apparently a lot of positive newspaper review! Ya ya, because I was impressed with the dead and raw lobster that the Morton's waitress waved in our faces exactly 1 year ago! I am super crossing my fingers that it is not THAT expensive I'm becoming super broke.

Updates with photos for my NY trip will take awhile because about 1/4 of the photos are in my mum's camera, another 1/4 are in the Canon DSLR which I passed to my brother to bring along to Korea! So probably only get all in mid-July cause my brother is only coming back on the 14th! Will share my buys from NY soon! Once I sort out what I actually bought! HAHA. Want to go Tiffany tomorrow to go solder on my spanking new charms onto my bracelet, but no one is free tomorrow I THINK, haha cause I didn't actually bother asking anyone. Plus the BF says I have to wear nice nice tomorrow and be ready by 6pm so the timing is kind of tight =(

Anyway, I only bought stuff for the girls, so too bad for you guys okay! HAHA. I bought like a box of various brand mascaras and benetints/posietints/high beam from benefit. SO YOU LUCKY PEOPLE GET TO CHOOSE =D

Worth your time

I am blogging using my touch now. I seriously CANNOT understand how people can use their ipho e to type a mill things! I am going slightly crazy just typing this out! I don't think I have fatter than average fingers so why on earth is it so hard! Plus I have to keep changing the keypad to use punctuation! And if you know me, I use a ton of "!!!!!!????.... " argh. This just sucks! I am definitely a blackberry girl! I need to be able to touch and press REAL physical buttons. How do pole type without looking at their phone! Bet it's really hard/impossible to do so without a mill errors! Okay, shall stop ranting because this is not why I am blogging! (plus I have lots of friends w iPhones which might kill me etc) omg, last one, where the hell is the enter button?!?!?!? Anyway, today I went to this really interesting place! I think it is the American version of a food court ! You walk into a place that looks exactly like a supermarket, then as you walk further in, you see buffet-like tables with lots of different food as well as counters with people to help you with some more troublesome stuff like sliced turkey etc. You then fill your plate or take home cotntainer with whatever you like in whatever amount you want and then proceed to the cashier to pay! You are actually in supermarket still and queue at the counters where they will weigh your food and pay! Ya, the food goes by weight! Rice with spices is 7.99 per lb, sliced turkey is 8.99 per lb! Super interesting way right! I thought the only stuff that went by weight was frozen yoghurt! This place that I am talking about os at the time Warner centre. Where there os once again another sephora! Bought more stuff from there. Super happy. Okay, I thi nk that is all tonight! Legs are super aching!

New york! Day 2!

Spent the whole day at woodsbury outlet mall! SUPER DAMN TIRED. That's 1030am to 8pm of shopping!! Bought mac eyeshadows!! Super f-ing cheap! 10usd each!! Then finally found my gucci sunglasses!! My original budget was 300sgd but I got it for 150usd cause it was on sale!! That's less than 200 sgd!! Woohoo!! American eagle is also super!! IT'S EXACTLY LIKE THE STUFF ONLINE! And if you thought the F21 in 313 was big! You should see the one in times square!! Went there yesterday and it has 4 levels, and each floor is the size of the whole 313 F21!! Crazy!! My mummy bought 3 kate spade bags!

Tan tifen!! I bought your bday present!! But don't know if you'll like it!! Haha.

Finished the day off with eating nissin cup noodles for supper! Haha.

Was using the itouch just now and omg, surfing the net on an itouch is super great! Bb internet surfing sucks big time!

Off to niagara falls early tmr morning!

Need to pack now! Then angry birds!! =D

Can't wait to hit sephora when I get back to ny on tuesday! Think I will go crazy!! =D

Hamster love =)

It is literally raining cats and dogs right now. So glad that I managed to make it home before it started pouring! Watching soyabeanie happily running in his wheel! He looks really happy running and climbing all over this mini transparent castle! Need to start packing my stuff =( Super lazy to start!!! Plus tomorrow I still need to bring soya to Jon's house and settle him in properly! Finally finished everything that needs booking for my trip! I'll be gone on Friday and will only be back on the 27th night! BUT THE BEST PART, is that I have free wifi connection so I shall blog and tweet when I'm bored!! Think soya is hungry, he keeps camping in his food bowl and looking lost because there is no more food inside! HAHA. He's like a baby! Okay, really need to bathe and do stuff!

Till the World Ends

Today my mum bought me a pink coloured mop and a pail with wheels to encourage me to mop the floor because it hasn't been done since my maid went back to philippines for holiday. She'll be back on Monday (thank goodness!) but I'm flying off this Friday anyway! My pink mop is apparently the latest kind of mop where the head is this squishy thing instead of the normal cloth kind of things, and it is totally pink! It costs more than twice the usual mop BUT my mum says it's a worthy investment to have me mop the floor -_- So there I go about mopping my way from the bottom to the top, when my dad said I can don't mop his room's floor because APPARENTLY HE CLAIMS that after I mopped the living room floor, it became dirtier than it was before (which is quite impossible to me). Then my mummy happily laughed at me and said "see, you offer to mop people's floor, people also scared to let you mop". Ya luh, super add salt -_- Anyway, in case you have never mopped the floor, FYI, IT IS VERY TIRING. Have to carry the stupid pail up and down the stairs.

I DECIDED THAT I CAN NEVER EVER BE A HOUSEWIFE. TAI TAI IS OKAY, NO HOUSEWIFE. I can fetch my future kids (if I even decide to have any in the first place, that's a whole different story) around to CCAs etc, or go work like a crazy workaholic, but NO HOUSEWORK FOR ME. And I almost forgot, I cannot cook either. Cup porridge and cup noodles okay. No maggi mee that needs to be cooked in a pot. SUPER TROUBLESOME AND THE FIRE VERY HOT.

Okay, so I am CONFIRMED to fly off on Friday morning!! =D Both the NY hotels that I am staying at has free wifi (YAYS!) so I can continue on twitter and blogging and whatsapp-ing people without paying crazy amounts of $$$. Only the Niagara Falls hotel doesn't have free wifi =( But hey, they have a waterslide in my hotel!! Shall slide until my ass is pain from the friction. HAAH.

7th June (Tuesday)

Finally went for a v12 outing after missing the last two! We went to eat at this Korean place at Tanjong Katong. We forgot to take a group photo so all I have is a picture of my Korean dish and my waffle ice cream at some ice cream shop.

8th June (Wednesday)

Went to club with Tifen =) Actually 2 people also quite fun! Songs were not too bad that night. Just that it was a sausage-fest. But I have perfected my glaring technique! HAHA.

Meet-up before Liesel left for Germany! Went to Ion and ended up in BaliThai AGAIN. Finally found something nice =) The chicken satay is good!!

The Story of US

Am super tired. Got the extra luggage, no ipad (it is sold out islandwide, super wtf), attempted to clear away all the stuff in my luggage from my BKK trip (still 1/5 full), bought my dad's father's day present, wrote his card, made my list of things to get during my NY trip, plus the things to bring, etc.

Today I brought in the dried laundry and folded them. All because my mummy said that if I don't bring it in, there will be no more space to hang anything and no clothes washing will be done. ARGH RIGHT. I am super damn used to having whatever I wore today back in my cupboard the day after.

Will blog a proper post tomorrow. OMG I JUST RMB THAT I HAVE TO MOP THE FLOOR TMR. CRAP.

I had my first motorbike ride on Friday! SCREAMED LIKE A CRAZY WOMAN AND ALMOST GOT BANGED DOWN BY A TAXI. Plus I think I flashed everyone my safety shorts outside Zouk cause my dress was the flare kind. Crap.

Tentatively flying off on Friday!! =D Trying to change to either Wednesday or Thursday!

Oh ya, totally forgot to talk about this point. MY MAID IS BACK IN PHILIPPINES FOR HOLIDAY. OMG. Yesterday my mum sent me an sms to wash my toilet bowl!?!?!?!?!? BUT, my toilet bowl is actually very clean so I self-proclaim NO NEED TO. The day before, I got an sms to go fold the laundry once they were dry and a reminder to not wear too many outfits in one day. My dustbin is overflowing and my toilet has no more toilet paper. I'm in a super sad state. Plus I just realized that I have to unpack my BKK luggage (which is still insanely full with all the stuff I bought) so that I can pack my luggage to NY. Nightmare looming...

Okay, think it's time to get my ass out of my house!

All that glitters is GOLD CLASS

I realized I have not done ANYTHING constructive since my internship ended 2 weeks ago. Everyone seems to be reading books/working/etc, but hey, holidays are for doing absolutely useless things right!

30th May (Monday)

Not very sure what we did that day except eat Everything With Fries (I deduced that from the photos =) and play L4D2. I suspect we might have watched a movie!

Happens to be the same number as my house!!

My new Charles and Keith shoes in their box! Almost fell in them at work last week! Would have been SUPER EMBARRASSING, BUT NEVER OKAY.

I bought more than 5 dresses in the same cutting but different patterns and material in BKK. This is one of them! Haha. This are my I-can't-be-bothered-to-think-what-to-wear-today dresses!! =D

Explanation: I forgot to take a picture of the burger when it first came so I took a picture of the half-eaten one. HAHA. That's their signature burger with sour cream and onion flavoured fries!

Then we went to play L4D2!!! WOOHOO. Super addicted!

3rd June (Friday)

Another day in town! We only came to town because I badly wanted to KILL SOME ZOMBIES. Muahaha! Marche at 313!

I only had a plain rosti that day because I wasn't very hungry!

6th June (Monday)

Remember I said I was going to surprise the Bf with Gold class X-men? Today's the day! Started out grumpy because the Bf refused to let me eat Swenson's for lunch =( He insisted on this place called King Louis Grill (or something along that line) It's on the 3rd level beside the arcade. But okay, it was quite nice, so here's me partially smiling after we ordered!

Each set comes with a huge drink, a soup and ice cream!

Time for our movie after some shopping!

The Gold Class Lounge! There is a dedicated Gold Class ticket collection counter so you don't really have to wait like other people! Then before your movie, you go into the lounge where you can first grab a bite or just order what you would like to have in the theatre later (like we did!). I had the Breaded Prawns and a coke! Was still feeling very full from our super late lunch (4pm) hence we got them to only bring our food mid-movie but the drinks the moment they were ready! You can either settle the bill there and then or just leave them a card so that you have a tab open throughout the movie!

Me all snuggled comfortably in my blanket and with my seat reclined SUPER LOW. Seriously, it's like SUPER SOFT AND SMOOTH, and It's like lying in your bed and watching a movie on a big screen! If you have money to spare, PLEASE GO GOLD CLASS. But please don't be stupid and watching all the nonsense shows or those really short movies etc, and try to watch on a weekday cause it's cheaper! I plan to watch Transformers GOLD CLASS. =D But I think I'll try the competitor just to try it out! Cathay just launched it's Platinum Movie Suites (direct competition in relation to GV Gold Class)!

Bought yum yums for my doggie from the US Doggie Bakery! From left: Eclair (dog chocolate), mini blueberry muffin, mini banana doughnut, mini strawberry doughnut and mini cheese muffin! Made from human-grade ingredients!
