It's like we're chasing all those stars

Play L4D2 today after a hiatus of more than half a year! I TELL YOU, KILLING/SHOOTING STUFF IS SUPER FUN. Haha. Plus we kind of got a super good deal today! We paid $6 each for movie tickets (Kung Fu Panda 2), then we got a free drink each using our student card. After that, using our ticket stubs, we got an additional hour free each on the computers at Level 9 Cine (so 2 hours of zombie killing in total) plus another free drink each! It kind of felt like it's "free-drink-day" or something! Digressing a little, PLEASE WATCH KUNG FU PANDA 2!! I actually think it's better than the first one!! There are like a million funny lines and I think the bf and I were laughing our head off most of the movie! Come to think of it, I don't mind watching it again! HAHA.

Now back to killing stuff. Today I realized that I might be a ku-niang girl (love shopping, scared of cockroaches and the dark, mani/pedi often, melt in the sun, etc) BUT, I am also quite violent! I absolutely love playing L4D2, House of the Dead, Bishi Bashi, Raving Rabbids, Time Crisis, etc! Especially if you know me in person, HAHA, I am not the demure or gentle type! Like my mum and close friends say, if I keep quiet and don't move, I might be able to pass off as demure/gentle, but my cover will immediately be blown the moment I open my mouth or move. Bleah I know. Muahaha!

Anyway! My trip to New York is quite finalized! We decided to fly 1 day earlier to maximize the trip! Even then, I foresee that it's going to be quite tight =( General breakdown for now:
17th June (Fri) - Fly off, reach NY at night (because we gain 12 hours or something like that)
18th - OUTLET MALL SHOPPING WOOHOO!!! =D
19th - Train our way to Niagara Falls (Ontario side), watch the light show and fireworks display!
20th - Explore Niagara falls and the many millions of attractions!
21st (Tues) - Train back to NY!
22nd - Use our NY Pass! (Museums, sightseeing)
23rd - Use our NY Pass! Watch Phantom of the Opera!
24th (Fri) - Watch my brother's fencing competition! Do random shopping!
25th - Watch fencing! Random shopping!
26th (Sun) - Fly back!
27th - Land at dinner time cause we lose 12 hours!

Super excited because we're most probably going to get a hotel at the falls with a view of the falls from our bedroom window!! And apparently there is a 10000 sq feet indoor pool complex with a water slide! Haha, not sure how great the pool thing is though!

Okay, off to more researching because we're going to book everything tomorrow! =D

Can you feel the love tonight

Researching on the Niagara Falls. Apparently there are like a million things to do there. Can't tell if the website is lying to me. Haha. Need to figure out which is the best way to get there from NY, what exactly is great to do there, which kind of boat tour to go on, when are the fireworks displays, and how much is all these going to cost. It's as if I'm on some school project! Blog later!!

Lazy Saturday

I woke up at 4pm and had a rude shock because I expected the time to be 1pm. Now I am lunch-less and hungry. Anyway, I had a dream in which I was very troubled over WHERE to have our anniversary dinner. Why do I have this kind of dream?!?! the troubling feeling still lingers on after I wake up, this sucks. Dear dream, I already made up my mind long ago so no thanks for doubting me! I set my heart on going back to Morton's (same as last year) because I'm super tempted to eat the lobster that the waitress waved in our faces. HAHA.

Ah shit. I just found out that there is a bonus scene at the end of POTC4! DAMN. I totally forgot about staying on to see if there was one!! SOMEONE PLEASE WATCH IT AND TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED! Okay, mainly I'm just interested to know if the mermaid actually ate the person. HAHA.

Don't do it, you'll regret it.

I've been hanging out in town for the past 3 days and I can say that my legs are freaking tired, and I had enough of shopping for awhile. Today is my designated laze at home and do nothing day before I head to work! Watch teevee, sleep and eat! MUAHAHAH. Happiness! Yesterday, Carina imagined that Handburger was at Ion when it was actually at 313! The best part was that we were at 313, then we WALKED to Ion only to realize the mistake when we reached Ion. FTW. Then we took the MRT back to 313 to finally get our burgers. SUPER TIRING.

Town Day 1 - 24th May (Tuesday)

Town Day 2 - 25th May (Wednesday)

Went to the Tangs sale with the bf. Quite a mad rush! The sale was not bad! I bought a Guess by Marciano top for $49 when the original price was $205!! Also bought eyeliner and eyeshadow because my Smashbox liner is finishing and I hate it that it smudges. Switched back to gel liner! The Bobbi Brown gel liner is not very smudge-proof so don't buy!

Free stuff! HAHA.

Town Day 3 - 26th May (Thursday)

Haven't seen Carina in AGES. So we went shopping AGAIN and did nails!

The original burger. I think the place was so-so only cause my burger wasn't that nice =( Love Fatboys and Everything With Fries!

It's so weird that I'm up so early!

We bought vouchers off either groupon/whatever-else. So it was essentially half-priced EVERYTHING and each of us had to order $20 worth of food! HAPPINESS.
