I'm going clubbing tonight. What a weird night to go club right? But it's my only night off from work besides Monday, and Zirca has hip-hop and r and b nights on thursday, and we have free entry, so oh well, hope it will turn out fun!

My little beatle is back!!! Okay, it's not really mine, but I get to use it most of the time anyway =) I can still remember how to drive!!! Haha. I was having doubts, but after driving home from IKEA (the alexandra road one), I can safely say I can still drive well =)

Okay, I'm going to take a nap right now.

I want my pay day!

Oh fuck! smu law accepted me!

Finally, I think the stupid dilemma is finally over. I was just debating whether to accept nus biz offer and cancel my ntu biz offer, (because I was so lured by the thought of staying in nus hall) and was checking the Joint acceptance platform on how to reject when I already accepted(?) when I saw THIS!

Okay, I don't really want to be a lawyer? I just want to be a banker earning load of money (haha, so materialistic)! Just that I'll have no hall to stay in because SMU has no hostel! But my school will be in town! MUAHAHA. Read that right, TOWN. Just glad the whole saga is over. Now, who's going smu or smu law? I only can rmb that vanessa is going to smu biz, no one else seems to register?!?!

Went bugis to get a mani with bimbo tan, it's damn cheap, $10.90 for OPI polish. She has such PUNY fingernails and I bet all nail salons will be smiling with glee when she goes there because they use so little polish/base coat/top coats/etc. My nails are twice the size of hers. See picture below! And I bought ANOTHER pair of shoes =) Because they were really pretty, and Bugis J is a capitaland mall, so I used my $14+ of rebate on my $40 shoes and guess what? My shoes became $25 only! Haha. Plus waitressing tips yesterday night was REALLY NOT BAD = $21.50. (almost enough to cover my shoes which I was so not supposed to buy!) That's really more then 3 hours of waitressing pay. Very happy, want to go Great Singapore Sale Shopping (GSSS, haha) next week! How come I didn't even know that it started already?!?!? Need to buy uni clothes, what on earth do people wear to uni?!?!

I'm having a lazy day

I just bathed, and I changed from one set of p.js to another set p.js. Haha. I woke up at 1:30pm, and lazed my day away without doing much constructive stuff. I only transferred some songs into my MP3 player and watched tv. That's about it. I didn't even do my nails, which is terrible, because I can't go out without unpainted nails tmr. Damn it. I was considering sleeping early tonight, first time in possibly weeks =( I realised today that the only time I actually have time to do whatever I want, is on weekday afternoons. So sad right? Weekends are like crazy, dinners and supper times are spent waitressing, early mornings could mean clubbing, late mornings are for sleeping. Can simply not imagine what's going to happen when Uni starts.

I still don't know which Uni I'm going. Which is shit. How to make a decision!

Anyway, I went to watch the (passing-out??) parade at sispec pasir laba camp or something like that last friday! Lots of marching, hot sun, and lots to laugh at. Pamela and I seriously couldn't stop laughing in amusement at all sorts of things. From "OMG! All the legs are moving at the same time!" to "They look like caterpillars!" to "They are swinging from logs!". But trust me, if you ever go to some army parade, BRING ALONG A FAN. As powerful as a fan can get. Then, make sure you don't wear black (or any other heat-absorbing colour). Bring snacks and cold drinks, and you can have a picnic at the grandstand! That's what I'm soo going to do when I go for Jon's POP in Tekong on June 9th! =)

Nothing to report =)

Finally, today is my rest day from all my work. No waitressing, no tuition, no nothing at all! Feel so happy. My leg muscles are killing me =( Waitressing last friday, then club in awful 3 1/2" heels at zouk on sat, then waitress again on sun, tuition and more waitressing yesterday. I think it's getting a little extreme on the working side. And my coach called me yesterday to go help him teach little kids table tennis! I haven't played table tennis since god knows when! I'm starting next Thursday! =) Exciting ya? Little kiddies trying to play table tennis when they're heads are not much higher than the table! Still don't know how much my coach is going to pay me, but oh well, it's so near my house, no need to pay cpf! haha. AND GUESS WHAT. Pamela and I just found out yesterday that for our waitressing job, we're getting paid by cheque!!!! Means we get every cent that we earn and that none of it goes to CPF!!! Muahaha. I feel soooo happy =) Get ready for the great singapore sale!! =) I just bought a white crop jacket from pull and bear and I regretted immediately after signing the receipt because I realised I'm not supposed to buy anything because I'm supposed to wait for the sale =( And if I'm not wrong, I swore not to shop some more after friday's shopping trip with yi fong fong at vivo =( Haha, oh no.

My mum crashed the beatle yesterday. Haha. I've been driving the beatle everyday since thursday. I returned it to her on monday so she can drive it instead of the SUV to work, and she crashed it right that morning. Haha. Not hurt or anything, but now it's at the workshop. The beatle is hurt obviously. Hope it's coming back soon! =)

Debating to book or not to book aquamarine seafood buffet dinner for this saturday! Want to try something new! How?!?!

Take me away

I seriously hate the army can.

And I seriously can't stand customers of a certain race. Actually, practically everyone in the wait staff can't stand them. They make MANY weird demands, mess up the whole freaking place, get irritated easily, and all in all, they don't even give any tips after seriously messing the whole bloody place up. They actually split up their freaking order like into 5 orders. Drinks, then 2 dishes, 1 dish, 3 dishes, 2 desserts, then more dishes. Like hello, can't you order all in one?!?!?! And it was not because they ate and still felt hungry so they ordered more, they PLANNED TO SPLIT IT ALL UP. What the F***. The worse part? The pointed to me on the menu that they wanted grilled king prawns, then when it came, they said they didn't order it because they didn't like king prawns, but hello, I repeated the order when I took it and they didn't say anything? And they seriously pointed to that. Then I brought the menu to them and showed them that they did point it to me, then the stupid lady say no no, she pointed to the picture, my foot ok, then she said there, I ordered this (picture was showing garlic shrimps), then she pointed to the menu and said, there, this one is the one in the picture that I ordered, AND YOU KNOW WHAT SHE POINTED TO? She was pointing to Prawns ala Plancha. Lier. One is shrimp, one is prawn, one in a brown bowl, one in a black plate, one without shells, one with, wah, I tell you, I think I have super powers, I actually managed to resist rolling my eyes right at them. And being such a nice waitress, when the the very irritating couple's father smiled at me when he was leaving, I gave a smile back. For one freaking moment, I was just going to roll my eyes, but he didn't do anything, so fine, lukewarm response will do.

But overall I love the job, so how? Continue working even though I probably see more of these instances. Go guess what race is that. Really spoil my impression of them, cause so far all the people that I know are really nice people, and helped me in parts of my life, but this race seriously becomes monsters during meals in restaurants. Disappointing.

And the tip for each person yesterday was $19.15! Amazing. Thats like 2 hours plus of work! Working again tmr till 2am =(

I spent $267 at my nail salon today

$67 for pedi mani today, and the rest for another 6 pedi with treatments =) not bad price I think? $35 for a classic pedicure and a nail treatment each time. The manicurist are very nice (at least the two who did my pedi and mani today were), and they have I think 6 branches where I can use up my package. Now I have VERY smooth feet =) Yays. Now, I have to figure how to cure my blisters quick from my multiple attacks of wearing 3-inchies and wearing tight strappy sandals to work.

Don't ever eat canele new york cheese cake okay? It's no good, starbucks or coffee bean is better. Much better. EAT OTHER STUFF AT CANELE =)

Had Mother's Day lunch one day early, Sat high tea buffet at Aquamarine in Marina Mandarin. Will upload the pictures soon, but I would say go for it!!! It's $38+++ for sat/sun high tea (12nn to 5pm). Althogether I paid $170+ for 5 people, and they gave me a $30 voucher, so I'm obviously going back there again! This time, it will definitely for dinner! I actually already booked buffet dinner for 2 for that sat night, but had to change to lunch instead when I realised that mother's day is actually on the 2nd and not 3rd sunday of May, so blur. Hopefully this sat as long as Jon doesn't get confined. It's so sad that I can only talk to him for a little while at night and then see him on weekends. It's so different. From clubbing and dating in early 08, studying together everyday from mid 08, then going out around 5 days a week till april 11 09, and now, the weekends and phone calls. Some more my work causes me to be unable to talk to him every night. But I quite enjoy my job, as in just for earning my shopping money and not a permanent job of course. Might go crazy do this for too long, some customers are really irritating, but there are of course nice ones too. But actually, it's more of the I cannot stand working on Friday till 2am. I need a life still.

Will review aquamarine in my next post or something =)

Back here - bbmak?

Bleah. I have worked continuously for 3 nights 7pm to 1am. Damn tired. The only phrase to describe how my legs are feeling? Fucking muscle ache. The good news? My leg muscles are actually more toned now. Amazing right, from just waitressing =) I think I actually enjoy my job. Yes, it's tiring, we sometimes get very f-ing customers like one stupid singaporean today, fear for spilling the martinis, etc, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it, and I'm not quiting =) I'll be a survivor at least for a month okay!

Let me tell you what this very bitch (but they are actually men) table of customers. I think it was 2 ang mohs, 1 chinese singaporean, and 1 more I cannot really remember. They walk in, ordered a jug of heineken. Then I happily bounded up to them after 5 minutes to ask if they want to order food, then you know what that male bitch (chinese singaporean) said?!?!
"CAN WE GET OUR BEERS FIRST RIGHT NOW. HOW CAN WE ORDER WITHOUT OUR DRINKS." It doesn't sound bad here, you should have heard his stupid tone. Like we're damn slow and dumb and like his slaves like that. Like they only ordered less then 5 minutes ago, and we almost have full house on the deck. Damn rude can. He obviously thinks he's damn f-ing good or something. Then when Pam finally went to get their food order after the beers were served, they joked that they want to pay by CPF can? Damn idiot. Super insincere. Then 5 minutes later, the male bitch asked me over and said "IF THE FOOD DOESN'T COME IN 5 MINUTES, WE'RE GOING TO LEAVE" Hello, you think cooked food drop from the sky ah. You want to leave then leave. Damn pissed. A few other wait staff also irritated with them. When they left, I didn't even bother smiling or saying thank you, I rolled my eyes. Then here comes thee best part, they are damn messy, all sorts of crumbs on the chairs and the table. Please don't come back again.

But today there are also very nice customers =) I invested a lot of smiles in the customers and they gave a lot of tips =) One guy paid by credit card, but gave $4 tips in cash =) Then another wrote a nice comment card =) So tonight's tip per wait staff was $11+!! Normally it's only like $4 or $5. It's an overall good day, plus it was quite full on deck but not to crazy, so yays =)

I booked buffet at Aquamarine for 2 for sat dinner, but now I think have to cancel/postpone because I'm treating mother's day buffet lunch at either sheraton or intercontinental instead. Can't eat too many buffet's in a weekend! Maybe next week end! Anyway Aquamarine costs a bomb, $58++ for sat dinner. Then after that, I want to try Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts and One-ninety at Four seasons. Or maybe chiong all those that have credit card promos before they end =) Any hotel buffet with juicy fresh prawns on ice and a pretty chocolate fondue qualifies as a good buffet =) I normally only spam those two =) I don't eat oysters, scallops, muscles, crayfish, so abnormal right!

Today I drove my mummy to Siglap at 3 plus pm to eat Thai express and go to the bank. When I was going to the car, I went to the front passenger door and opened it, wanting to go in. Only then did I realise that I was on the wrong side. Haha. Super dumb moment.

Busy busy weekend.
I'm still depressed over smu.
But I got nus biz.
I want Smu law.
stupid.
I hope man utd wins the champions league.
(since my chel lost =( I support man utd for a match to make all you man utd fans happy, okay fine, I don't like barcelona okay, that's why)

So many in a day.

I feel freaking depressed.

No smu law acceptance, no acceptance to smu biz either. So it obviously mean that they are like still considering me for law but not on the first wave of acceptance.

No news from NUS biz either.

Rejection from SGX scholarship.

I don't want to to work tmr.

I'm so tired.

Haven't found a suitable hotel buffet.

I feel like crying. Shit. Maybe I'm PMS-ing.

Now then I realised how screwed uni applications are. Lots of people already have SMU business acceptance, I don't have. And SMU law is still interviewing people?!?!?! What happens if I get rejected from SMU law, then can I still get my biz?!?! What if they don't want me. Wah shit. Then apparently NUS doesn't want me either. No letters or anything, when people also got accepted like last week can.

And to think that we all have to start studying again in August! I think I have forgotten how to study after this VERY VERY LONG HOLIDAY.
