HA
I woke up at 1:45pm today =)
Ate duck rice for my lunch cum breakfast cum brunch.
I had churros yesterday at clarke quay! Damn yummy! It's from a spanish street food shop called Allegro, and the churros come in mini-sizes not like the usual long long fat fat piece but many smaller pieces. $4 only, considering it's in clarke quay! I hate it that churros tend to always be overpriced no matter where you buy them from.
Rebel was way weird yesterday. There was a guest dj and it was like part club, part rock concert?!?! I must say that I think that Rebel was bigger than the previous Smoove, probably got some of the space from Zirca and the member's lounge was erm, kind of empty.
Will upload photos when I get them from Jon.
AND GUESS WHAT. I MIGHT NOT BE JOBLES SOON =) MUAHAHA. AND IT'S NOT WAITRESSING OR THE BLOGSHOP =)

Support us when we open shop.
I thought Jason Mraz was like boyish-looking. From his voice. Imagine the amount of shock when I saw his I'm yours music video on Tee-vee just now! He is SO NOT boyish, NOT pretty boy kind! So disappointed!
Anyway, I watched Bride Wars just now =) It's really nice! GO WATCH IT! The dresses are pretty and the guys are decent to look at! But I must say I love Hathaway so much more than Hudson! Probably since she acted in princess diaries or something. She's so pretty. Love her wedding dress more than the so-called Vera Wang gown that Kate hudson was wearing in the movie. Okay la, but maybe a little too drama for some people, but the cinema was practically FULL house okay! Want to watch Marley and Me when it releases in feb 26. The dog is so ultraliciously cute!
Going to try out the MOS replacement tmr! Can't decide between Rebel or Zirca! They should toally join the two clubs together like the old MOS! It'll be so much more fun and people can change from one to another without having to pay two cover charges or something. Apparently Rebel is quite small(?!?!) cause it's only the floor area of smoove of the old MOS = SMALL. And might go try finding a waitressing job at Clarke Quay along the way =) Only if they pay me $7 per hour of more.

Watch out for our shop in the next few posts =)

OOOHH. It's CNY.
Nope, my computer is still down with no replacement in sight! Lalala. It's bloody frustrating and I have to actually fight for the laptop. My wonderful excuse : "You can't deprive me! I haven't shopped online for at least a month!" Back to online shopping! Now that all the wintry stuff are gone and all the American and British shopping sites are all spring and summery. Just wonderful. Then I decided I want to spend some of my money to buy fake nails and lots of nail polishes and eyeshadows. Sorry, I know it's like a pretty random thing, but yes, I want!! And I want to buy clothes! Don't know why either, but I think I should lock up all my CNY $$$ somewhere if not I'll spend them all!
And yes, I'm still terribly jobless. My mummy keeps telling all the people that come to visit us that if there's anything can just call me to run errands/go out/etc because I'm very free. Ya right! I'm busy learning driving and so-called job-finding okay! I think if I'm still jobless by mid-feb, I'll just be lazy and go find a waitressing job.
Today Sihui, Tristan and I went to send matt foo off to camp. I woke up at 825am, to go to pasir ris interchange at 915am, just to see foo for 10 mins. Wah, like super short. And all the recruits or whatever they're called must all tuck in their shirts. So funny! It's like back to school! And talking about school, I miss school. How I wish I was still in school! Debating whether to go to lecture, meeting all your friends practically every single day! But no, I never ever want to go through the taking A'levels part ever again.
Someone please tell me what happened in Gossipp girls season 2 last 2 episodes? My stupid DVD cannot play the last 2 episodes! *pulls hair*
Probably clubbing on Friday. It's been AGES since I last clubbed! 14th jan doesn't really count because I left with Lilin at a little past midnight and I got extremely sick after that. Cannot decide between trying out either Zirca or Rebel, or maybe should just go to Zouk. Or maybe I should just go night safari! This is such a dilemma. Haha.
Oh, and by the way, I think the phrase "happy niu year" is like so whatever. Cheesy like oh man. DO NOT SAY IT TO ME PLEASE. Spare me.

Blabbering post
This is going to be an extra quick one!
I had enough of taboo in one day and enough to last me awhile! And I had ice cream chef today =) with the v12 people. And we just crammed up ice cream chef with all our stalkers! I think I sound incoherent but it's really because my brain is very tired and I feel intellectual enough for a day and my throat hurts like how everytime after a v12 gathering. I suck at guitar hero big time, something about having close to zero coordination and the thing moves too fast! Zong-he's head feels like a carpet grass and NS is like haha. Will not want to eat anymore nuggets/sausages/kueh pie ti (yes even if it's nonya, ben)/muffins/crispy chicken/sandwiches within the next 48 hours at least and everytime we have a gathering at someone's house, it feels like a bloody excuse to just eat our way through the day, like how we have no proper meals but eat all these from 930am to 5pm today. We sound like pigs but we never actually ate a proper lunch okay! And then there is the mahjong playing, and how Rach complains that there was less money to begin with and then Sihui comes in and shows all her many chips to Rach with sadistic laughter. I want to complain how maho actually brings nothing but two packets of milk bread, and it's not even for us to eat! Not like we're choosy! Then Clara self-entertains by playing the piano for us while we're playing mahjong, and Jom always seems to have yummy japanese vanilla butter cookies to offer, no matter which gathering! And Foo left early as usual, but managed to tell us about how he got scolded because he waved at belle while ignoring a customer at kenny's.
Why on earth do I have such funny (weird) friends!
This is such a weird post!

Like you babes =)
This is a random blog post, to my silly dinosaur who keeps calling me a sotong in the last 5 minutes. But I actually think he's more sotong. Haha. But since he helps me carry my bag when I whine that it's heavy, he let's me eat cafe cartel for dinner tonight, and also de-bones all my st louis pork ribs into mouth-sized pieces for me, so you can considered as quite nice. Can improve. Muahaha.
And for listening to me whine for 7 days straight when I was sick and whenever I get gastric pains and whenever else, (which might be quite often), Thanks babes.
And something you said today at dinner just sent me thinking about all the past things and some are really quite funny. Haha. Still amazes me how you managed to send sms during soccer finals and haha, that facial expression I saw from the stands is classic okay. And how we still can go clubbing after our matches in the middle of season. And how we got caught in citylink, and then tortured to study in jail. Somehow I think I was quite distracting, I think I couldn't really sit still for long. Now I think I miss eating Ice cream chef, BRING ME GO NOW =)
I'm not going to bring gossip girls season 2 for you tmr =P haha. I want ice cream in exchange. muahaha. I know you're reading this, so you know what to do. And return nana to me. =) You have abducted her for long enough.

Officially back from "i am so sick land"
I was sick in bed for 7 days okay! That's 1 whole bloody week. Not the "oh, mr___, I got a headache, can I take a leave form from school to go home please" kind of sick. The seriously lie in bed feeling extremely sick kind of sick. I don't think I ever got this sick, at least not within the last few years. But anyway, it's an experience, but I never want to experience it again okay! I'll stick with the 1 day or half day kind of flu or cough etc. But make a guess to what I was doing the night that I got sick. Clues? Scroll down and just look at the pictures and background and make a guess ok? And then things just got way bad from there, spending my birthday in bed, and cancelling all my plans to celebrate on Thursday and Friday, I feel like kicking myself, but oh well. I decided that after CNY, I will re-pretend that one saturday is my birthday and re-launch thursday and friday and saturday birthday plans. =) To make up for it.
And everything else is still about the same. I'm still jobless. Due to 1 or a few of the following reasons.
1. No one want to hire me
2. Admin jobs are all in the west or some ulu place. (so next time you want this kind of job, move to the west first)
3. Please I don't want to sell anything.
4. I don't mind waitressing but the pay sucks and I highly doubt I'm allowed to work at cafe/pubs.
5. Everyone wants permanent people. And I thought it was recession everyone would want temps.
6. And why does everyone just say send your resume first.
Hence, while I was still a little sick yesterday, I decided to spend the WHOLE day watching tv. Yup, I didn't give the tv a rest at all! I think I woke up at 930am, and I watched tv till 11pm yesterday night. Muahaha, that sounds so bloody evil. I didn't know there was so many things to watch on tv, probably lucky that I have cable. I watched: friends, hope and faith, house, csi ny, 7 and 9 o clock show, goong, 530 channel 8 show, deadliest catch, seconds from disaster of chernobyl explosion, amazing race asia 2, 90210, early edition, and others that I can't remember anymore.
Anyway, I'm getting my butt out of the house (finally!) and go get a decent passport sized photograph. I'm so going to sit there till I get a nice one, cause somehow they ALWAYS turn out fugly. And if I'm still bored when I get back, maybe I'll post ALL of the here if I can find them.
Oh ya, and I have driving today! Hope I don't crash the car!

I'm so sick that I feel like crying
I've been sick since wed. 40 degree fever. Feel like vomiting but nothing is coming up. Don't feel like eating anything but I'm actually hungry. I can't even stand for more than 10 minutes without feeling weak and dizzy. Had to bathe 3 times in 2 hours to keep my temperature from going above 40 degree. I cancelled 2 days worth of birthday celebrations and 1 driving lesson. And it seems like tomorrow is going to be a stupid stay-at-home day. It's so saddening that I want to cry. I don't think I've ever been so bloody sick in many many years.

Heels Over Head.
My computer is still down along with my internet connection! I think my father is getting me a laptop =) And if no one stops me, I'll get a pretty more than functional one! Haha. But definitely not an iMac. My brother has one, and although I know it's really pretty and it's white and it's an Apple, and the functions are really cool, it cannot do some stuff that other computer and laptops can, so no iMac. I want a Sony Vaio! Pink or red one =) Or maybe I want a laptop with the very cool fingerprint sensor! Then when you log in to windows, you don't have to type in your password, just put your finger at the sensor! And I also cannot decide whether to buy a big one or small one! Too big so hard to carry around but too small then cannot see much in the screen! Buying a laptop will be like a super big headache!
Oh, and I realised I cannot really say I'm jobless, because I'm teaching tuition! But I'm looking for a REAL job okay! Soon soon... But no one wants to hire me =( I don't know why!
AND I MUST SAY THIS, Clementi is an ULU place. There is zero shopping mall, and zero shopping malls in the nearby areas, and apparently the nearest "cool" place is Holland V which is I think not exactly very near to it either! If you didn't know, I think Clementi is on the
GREEN LINE. I was there with my mummy on Sunday, watching/supporting my brother fencing in some competition at Clementi Sports Hall. At first I went "exploring" around Clementi. THEN I REALISED THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO. It's like Bedok Central but with slightly less shops, and there was a pasar malam with sandals going for $2.90, bras going for $2 and a lot of very red chinese new year things. Oh ya, and all the chinese new year "dong dong chiang" songs are bloody giving me a headache. Even at Ang Mo Kio hub today, 9 out of 10 shops were "chiang-ing" away. And you never knew you could fit so many "gong xi" into a single song. I don't mind Chinese New Year actually. There's a nice reunion dinner steamboat, then yummy goodies to eat like "bak kua", and chocolates and sweets. Then of course there are the red packets =) BUT, the songs really give me a headache (esp the dong chiang ones) and I hate oranges. And after lots of visiting and entertaining to do, you become real tired, of smiling, gathering, talking about school, etc. I'm just so glad that A level results are released later than O levels. It's going to be a nightmare to get horrible grades and people keep asking you how was it. I think I'll choose to hide at home! I'm getting quite nervous about it. People keep speculating when it's coming out since the O's are already out! Please please please get good results.. Today I went for 2 driving lessons. Remember how I'm very free because I have no real job? Very fun! I went to 60km/h =) That's gear 4 okay! Then went up the slope, down the slope, up the slope, down the slope many times! I still get nervous when there are those big cement mixer trucks or double decker buses around. And when I see the pick-up trucks carrying the pressurised gas for kitchen stoves, I stay SUPER far away from them, and the instructor keeps trying to convince me how it won't explode even if my car hit the pick-up truck, but I'm so not convinced okay! And my instructor last week was an Ang moh called rafael. Hehe. So funny! I haven't banged anything okay! Great record =)
Going to town to choose my Birthday Present tmr =)

Some things aren't always like you thought it is
My computer has decided to something like crash. Don't know if you can really call it crash since on the CPU is crazy, but I think my hard disk is still well and happy. Then after my computer bailed on me almost 1 week ago, my stupid broadband decided to fail too. So now there are 3 laptops and 1 desktop in my house WITHOUT internet. It's horrible okay. You only know what you had when you don't have it anymore. So to plan our dinner outing for yesterday, a very desperate me decided to go to Changi Airport T3 Macs to use the internet. Didn't want to bother anyone early in the morning with "Can I come to your house to use your internet? Pretty please." I spent almost an hour on the computer there and after research, I ordered myself a Mcnuggets student meal. And the guy didn't even check for my student pass! Okay, I cheated, I wore Vj house tee and adiddas shorts to the airport, so I still look student-like =) Anyway, at the moment, I hate Starhub, cause they are really slow and useless. I called their call centre around lunch time yesterday, and they said they'd get their technical people to call me back to fix the problem, but HELLO, it's almost 24 hours, and like anyone can guess, they obviously haven't called at all. That's why I have to actually do facebook, upload photos, blog, all from other people's computer. And if they don't call by today, I'm so going to call them and some sort of scold them. They are slower than snail mail for goodness sake! And try living without your own internet!
So yesterday to celebrate Jon's birthday, we went to a restaurant called Uluru at Duxton Hill for a nice dinner. The soups were fantastic! Only had two types, Jon had the pumpkin soup while I had the tomato soup. Very yummy okay! Lots of flavours and definitely didn't come from any can or carton. It better not have, since each bowl cost $14. Haha. But the soup is really great, must order! Then he had his usual carnivorous choice of angus steak which costs scarily too, and then since it was apparently happy hour, got a cocktail too. The service was wonderful, and the waitress really knew her stuff and was very attentive. And the place was practically empty, probably because their main takings are from weekday lunches and weekend dinners. So quite nice and romantic and there was a candle too but I didn't burn any menus! UOB and Citibank cards both had 15% discount but couldn't let my father see the bill, if not he'll chop my head clean off. Will upload the picures soon =)
Life has been hectic with two parties in 1 week and lots of buying and errand running and job-finding, I'm so tired and I actually lost 80% of my voice. Haha. But now it's 70% back so happier now =)
Be back soon.
