Life after you =)
Today at yoga class, I counted doing the downward-facing-dog-pose 28 times. By mid-class, I was already dying and it was definitely power yoga. Every time the instructor (his name is Dr Venky, haha but he's very nice =) said go into child-pose (resting pose), I'm like all yays!, in normal yoga, we usually stay in this pose for like half a minute or more and it's really comfortable, so I associate it with rest from the crazy poses. BUT IN POWER YOGA, HE PROBABLY GIVES LIKE 5 SECONDS THEN SAYS GET UP AND GO TO *SOME OTHER POSE*. Every time he does that, I'm like "what?!?! so fast?!?!?", then reluctantly get into the next one. Very reluctantly. But today, I learnt where my hamstring muscle is (if you didn't already know, it's the muscle at the bottom of your upper thigh!), and I realised that yoga trains you to listen. Sometimes the instructor doesn't do a demo along with us, but he just narrates what to do, like "slide your left foot in front, go into tip toe position, etc", then some people are like equally lost, so you really have to listen and do instead of relying on looking at other people.
Wanted to talk about more random stuff, but online shopping is wwwaaaaaayy more fun. Haha. =)
