Clara's 21st + Lawry's + Z/o/u/k Jumbo Dinner + Geylang Supper!

OH WOW. It been almost a week since I've been here. School is eating up my time! Life has not really been good in terms of spare time this week. I realized that I can't work 3 times a week cause that absolutely leaves me with inadequate time to study. So I think as much as possible, I am only mainly going to work Fridays and Saturdays only! It's not really the 8 hours that I spend at Z/o/u/k that eats up time, it's the sleepiness and laziness that appears the next day. Anyway, classes have been great! May the goodness continue! I am keeping up with most of my readings and I totally listen to class (no shopping online during lessons)! Even in my loner Finishing Touch class on Monday afternoons, I feel okay/even happy remaining alone in my class! I know a few people in the class, but they are just kind of acquaintances, but IT'S OKAY =D Was talking about it with Liesel and Vinay when we went to supper at Simpang on Thursday! WE ALL NEED ALONE TIME. With no one else's schedule to go by, where you can do anything you want whenever you want to. Of course it's not like I want to be alone ALL THE TIME, but just sometimes! YOU GET WHAT I MEAN RIGHT. Even if you don't, I shall stop rambling and continue on with pictures!

Clara's 21st Birthday Party! (8th August)

May I first state that the cupcakes that you will see in the later pictures are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I WOULD DIE FOR 10 CUPCAKES TO APPEAR BEFORE ME RIGHT NOW! Okay, maybe not, but you get the idea! The theme was hobo/boho (don't know which comes first!) so as you can see, we were mainly boho, with the exception of Tristan (who I THINK was hobo) and I have no idea which theme Foo was going for!

Here comes the SUPER DUPER CUPCAKES

So although the bottom tiers were filled with cupcakes, the top tier was a real cake cake. SO PRETTY =D

After that, we all packed up to my house for a massive sleepover! I think 12/13 of us slept over and I think I have blogged a short bit on it already. It ended off with a popiah party. Pictures on Facebook but they are pretty unglam.

Lawry's Lunch on Thursday (11th August)

Had a really bad craving for Lawry's and treated the BF (okay it was one for one but still!)! English cut (my favourite because it is thinly sliced!) with creamed corn! CREAM CORN CREAM CORN! OMG. SUPER LOVE CREAMED CORN! The pancake-looking thing is the yorkshire pudding (no idea why it is a pudding, pudding is not = to the mango pudding type ah?). Mash potato so-so, didn't finish it as usual.

The BF had don't-know-what cut, but it's the thick kind.

Jumbo dinner! (15th August)

So A/d/e/l/i/n/e, our boss, treated the whole front office to a jumbo seafood dinner at clarke quay! We filled 3 tables! HAHA. And we ate to our hearts content. Do not die from looking at yummy pictures okay!

I have to give special mention to the deep-fried man tous, the moment it landed on our table, Sherry and I attacked them. Even before some of them had their first one, we were on our second and third ones! Then we ordered another basket, and they all were gone soon after, and after that, I went on to attack those on the next table. LOVE DEEP FRIED MAN TOU, I think I ate at least 10 that night!

Lobster!!

After the dinner, we went to K suites at Orchard Parade Hotel and we got the BIGGEST ASS SUITE. It has Wii, Karaoke, Pool table, multiple LCD teevees and many sofas! Seriously nice! Once again, pictures on Facebook! Pity I had to go home early because I had negotiation at 830am =(

Geylang Supper on Tuesday night! (16th August)

Once again had craving problems, so the sweet BF came to fetch me to have Hokkien mee and Kwong satay at Geylang Lorong 29! Tweeted Liesel and Vinay to make them jealous! Haha!

Half-eaten because it was only then that I remembered that I wanted to take a picture of it! HAHA.

Kwong Pork Satay!!

This picture is here because I am so tired of telling people how to identify the fats (WHICH IS UNDENIABLY THE BEST PART)! The middle portion is the fats! It is translucent especially if you put it up to the light! Seriously, the flavours when you crunch into the fats with all the oil coming out!!! SINFUL BUT WONDERFUL. But I think WONDERFUL > SINFUL.

Off to more readings, a birthday dinner and then to work! =D
