Bintan Day ONE

Hey hey! I'm a super unevenly burnt lobster right now!! It is really all the 1.5hours of kayaking's fault! I was actually okay on the morning of the 2nd day, burnt but not red. Then who knows, after the kayaking session, I am now burnt, PLUS UNEVENLY TOO. Top part of my hands, arms, legs are SUPER DAMN RED, bottom half is not red but just tanned from the tanning we did on Day 1! Now I look really weird. So glad that the lighting at zouk is semi-dark so you can't really tell but omg, the moment I go into proper lighting. BLEAH. Shall stop ranting and start with the pictures!

At Bintan Ferry Terminal waiting for my luggage to come out! Tifen's appeared so fast while mine took a good 10minutes to appear! Wearing my new ASOS dress! Super love it cause it's front is like a short floral dress but the back is like a maxi!

Camwhored with our bus because people were so slow in coming to the bus. We waited like more than 15minutes for the bus to leave!

This is the first picture which made me convinced that the stupid pancake lens distorts the sides! I read about it in forums but now I'm seeing it for myself!

Tifen looks super happy in this picture! She keeps making jonjon (stuffed dinosaur) do splits.

After some mild roasting, we decided to go to the pool side cafe to have lunch! They have super nice pizzas that are quite affordable! Okay, this is like my 6th or 7th time in Bintan and I have stayed at this resort (different hotel) for like 4 times maybe? Looks roughly the same!

Tifen's kimchi! Haha. Do not like kimchi at all.

Tried out the panorama effect of the camera! SUPER COOL!

Me with really wet hair! We had to keep alternating between tanning in the deckchairs and dipping into the pool because it was SOOO hot! But it's really not like Singapore because even though it's really hot, YOU WON'T SWEAT! The wind is super cooling and the humidity is much lower!

This is our resort's internal shuttle bus! Super cute! The resort is made up of 4 hotels (Nirwana Hotel, Mayang Sari which I stayed at least twice before, Banyan Biru and Nirwana Beach Club) We went for a massage which was not THAT cheap but decently priced! $33 for 1 hour. In BKK, $33 could probably get you 2.5/3 hours worth of massage!

Again sat the internal shuttle bus to go the Kelong Restaurant for dinner! Was actually having quite high expectations for it BUT IT WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. I remembered coming to eat here every trip and it was really good! Oh well.
