Move your body

Yesterday was really a last minute day. I was supposed to have dinner at Ku De Ta, then i cancelled it. Planned to finish my essay by 9am but I only did so at 12noon. Was then supposed to help out the my mum's wedding fair at Dhoby Gaut till we closed. While at the fair, Gwen fell sick and Vincent called me to go back to work that night. It was really tiring though. 


Anyway, today I planned to wake up at 1pm but was awaken by multiple phone calls. The contractor wanted to come in to check the pipes. My mum forgot about them and I was the only one at home. So had to wake up at 12noon, bring them around the house to inspect the various leaks, pipes and holes in the ceiling to check the heaters, etc. Then they finally found one of the problems, apparently above the 3rd level, there is a pool of water that could not flow out because we didn't clean it and it became stuck. BUT HEY, TODAY WAS THE FIRST TIME I LEARNT (SINCE LIVING IN THIS HOUSE FOR 10 YEARS) THAT WE COULD ACCESS THE TOP?!?!? So the man wanted a plastic bag to help clear the chokage and after he finished. He wanted to show me something. At first he just pointed to some stuff in the bag, I thought he was pointing to rotten leaves. BUT, then he told me he wanted to show me this thing that is living there!?!?!?!?? Quickly said no thanks because "THING" and "LIVING" does not sound good. BUT HE DIDN'T GIVE ME A CHOICE, KEPT POKING SOMETHING IN THE PLASTIC BAG. So he added more information, he said it looks/is something like a cockroach!?!?!?? OMG. I AM SUPER SCARED OF COCKROACHES SO I REPLIED WITH A BIG NO THANKS. THEN HE BROUGH THE BAG TO ME AND MADE ME LOOK AT THE FAT WRIGGLY THING. OMG. AS HE WAS LEAVING, HE ASKED ME WHETHER I WANTED THE COCKROACH-LIKE THING AS A SOUVENIR?!??!!!? Bleah. 


Working tonight! Have no idea what to wear for CODE tonight!
