I AM CURRENTLY IN SHENZHEN, CHINALAND =) Hence the lack of updates! If you don't already know, China doesn't allow blogger/twitter/facebook hence I haven't blogged since I got here! HOWEVER, there is apparently a miracle in that if you use FB/Twitter using your phone's data roam, IT FREAKING WORKS! Hence, I am still contactable through BBM/Whatsapp/FB/Twitter but for blogger, I have to go through my email and hopes this gets posted up because I can't seem to get into blogger through my BB!
Anyway, Shenzhen is really cold. Much colder than what I originally imagined but not as crazy as Italy. There are times (noon time mostly) when I am only wearing my havianas, a short dress (the kind I normally wear to school and a thin cardigan! Then at night/evening, it's stockings, knee-high boots, same short dress, cardigan and a winter jacket! Super love my winter coat =) I can't really post any pictures till i get back to Singapore there will be no Zoukout/Shenzhen/v12 outing/etc photos. I think by then it will be super backlogged! So today I am spending the whole day by myself because my dad has some visitors today =( I just came back from Dongmen (crazy shopping place) I actually had a headache while there. SUPER LOTS OF PEOPLE, SUPER LOTS OF CLOTHES, SUPER CRAZY. Shall go take an afternoon nap first before heading out in the evening to the nearby shopping centre/village-like place to do some self-exploration! My dad did bring me to the village place yesterday but I didn't get to the slowly explore the whole place and to take pictures! OH, I bought a pair of fluffy angry birds bedroom slippers because the floor is super cold, THINK WINTER. I really think that I am quite brave! MUAHAHA. Today I also took an electric bicycle ride to the mrt station! My dad's condo is a 10 minute walk to the mrt station but there are a lot of people who would wait around the entrance of the condo to offer 3-yuan rides to the station! SUPER CUTE CAN! I forgot to take a picture but I shall do that tmr =) By the way, 5 yuan = S$1. AHAH. Before heading out to Dongmen, I also had my hair washed at the salon at 25 yuan!!! HAHAHAHAH. I am going to get my hair washed at the salon EVERYDAY IN CHINA. Food is incredibly cheap here! Had a whole duck at a restaurant yesterday for just 80 yuan (S$16) and my lunch at a Japanese restaurant (something like Ajisen) was S$8 flat for a huge glass of coke and a bento set!
I shall not rant on anymore because it really is afternoon nap time!! =) Be back soon!
