Bangkok/Phuket Day 4 - 23rd May 2012 (Wednesday)
So after the mad shopping in Bangkok, we left for Phuket!!
The red engine of our Airasia plane! I conclude that Airasia is quite alright except that the seats do not go down much at all. So it's quite uncomfortable if you're trying to sleep on the plane!
While we were waiting to disembark the plane. For our plane to Bangkok, Sherry practically darted "lightning-style" out of the plane leaving the three of us far far behind (we failed to avoid the crowd of people like she did!), and we just stared at her in disbelief! Haha.
Us on our very cool SUV cab because our four luggages couldn't possibly fit into a normal cab! The cab was fixed price at around 850 to 950 baht (can't really remember already)!
Us in our adjoining rooms! We were already wearing our BKK loots!
We had some joke about how this "window" to the bathroom encourages "sexy time". HAHA.
Getting out of our hotel to go explore Phuket! =)
Sherry and Lili attacking the Phad Thai stall right outside our hotel!
Haha, I think this restaurant/pub is quite weird
! It's called Tiger Inn and the interior decorations all are tiger themed!
Serene and I were totally obsessed with the tour stands! There are plenty of this stands all around so we had to bargain all the way for our tours! We were looking for Simon Cabaret tickets for that night, Phi Phi Island tour for the next day and some random thing to do on Friday!
We finally got our Simon Cabaret tickets cheap and got our Phi Phi tour booked.
On the mini bus to watch the Simon Cabaret! They have 2-3 shows a night and we surprisingly managed to catch the early one! (Originally we thought we had to watch the one at 930pm because our flight only reached Phuket around 5pm!)
Lili and Serene!
This photo is here to show those disgusting/lecherous/old chinamen who were leering at us and see the guy in the blue tee! HE WAS FREAKING FILMING US. SERIOUSLY DISGUSTING. We complained to the ushers and they let us move down a few rows.
The show was er so-so. If you don't already know, SImon Cabaret is a cabaret of trannys dancing/lip-syncing. They danced songs of different nationalities/languages; English, Vietnamese, Bollywood, Korean, Chinese, etc. At the end of the show, all of them will stand in a row outside the theatre and you could take pictures with them. BUT YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM A TIP, IF NOT THEY WILL FIERCELY DEMAND IT FROM YOU.
After the minibus dropped us back to our hotel, we chanced upon a Banana Pancake stall right outside our hotel! Had this weird conversation about how the stall owner was an Indian man (something like our Singapore prata shop man) and not a Thai like all the other stall owners that we see!

Anyway, the method of making Banana Pancakes is very similar to how one would make a roti prata with filling. We ordered the banana + condensed milk pancake and the banana + chocolate sauce pancake! BOTH WERE YUM.
